It was a very neat place with good atmosphere with good food and I love that they have a dog friendly area. The server was great, very friendly and kind even though she was clearly super busy. We never did get a refill on our waters and considering we were eating salty food, that would have been a nice addition instead of sucking on ice cubes, but then again, I didn't ask for a refill either because the server was very busy, and I didn't want to bother her, so that's on me.

Margarita Pizza was perfection! Loved the house salad, as well. My daughter got a 'mocktail' that cost more than my 'cocktail' but she drank it all down, so can't complain 😜

I used to come here to get steak. They used to make these juicy, tender, thick steaks that I always looked forward to. It seems they got a new supplier or something because the quality has taken a dive. The last 4 steaks I've gotten here were thin, chewy, and either under cooked or over cooked. The pizza isn't bad at all. Also the sandwiches are good. If you plan on eating here, treat it like a pizza place.

Since I’ve lived in the Harbor area, I’ve have eaten at Zolas a dozen times. 75 to 80% of the time they’ve failed, mostly in the kitchen. Last night was the last for us. 2 of the 3 pizzas was burnt, 1/3 of the mussels were missing the internal muscles/meat, one tiny piece of bread, hard as a rock. And the worst, they started closing the restaurant before we got our food, putting the chairs on the surrounding tables (it was 815pm, closes at 9pm). It was gross, noisy and I un-inviting (this is why the low score for atmosphere ). Our waiter was great in the beginning, but then was MIA.

We eat out more than at home, and we’ve got great choices in Brookings, but never again will we go to Zolas. The chances of having terrible service or food is too frequent. To bad, as the decor inside is really nice. I’d avoid this place, there are other great choices in the area.

When we walked in, we were greeted with “we only have pizza available”. That was an odd way to greet people. The server, Chad, was efficient and I wish he had not greeted us the way he did. He seemed upset that we were there, like he was in a hurry to leave or be somewhere else. Maybe that’s just what you get at a small town place.
The pizzas were excellent in taste and the price was fair for the food. The honey with the pizza made it all that much better. The ricotta instead of pizza sauce, was heaven on a slice!
Apparently all the other food on the menu, which was huge, they were out of.. which would lead me to believe they are amazing, but I wouldn’t know, because of the unkind welcoming.
The atmosphere was great. Looks like they have a full bar. And the place was kid friendly, even a kids menu, however they were apparently out of all the kids stuff too, so we had to get a kids pizza as well. I would say, who ever does the ordering for the kitchen should probably do a better job of ordering, so other people can have other options off their Huge menu. Or maybe shrink their menu. Just a thought/suggestion.

Great atmosphere, delicious food (my 3 y.o. Loved her burger) and wonderful staff (they gave us special glasses to see the elves at the Christmas light show). We will be back in the summer. The bathroom was also very nice.
Also conveniently located next to an arcade.

my boyfriend and i came in and ordered our food to-go as we accidentally came 20 minutes before close. google told us they closed an hour 20 mins later so we thought we would be okay. we ended up getting a half and half pizza (pepperoni & med veg) as well as the cheese z bread, buffalo wings & a side of fries. they ran out of the 14” i believe so we could only get the small cheese bread (it was so yummy). we got that same size as a pizza so instead they made us both the 10” and 12” to make up for it at no extra cost. thank you to the staff who didn’t get upset at us for being so close to closing time and thank you to the man who took our order as well as brought it to us. highly recommend great service & great food 👍

I was so excited to eat here but it was not what I was expecting. As soon as I walked in the lady at the front didn’t even greet us until she finished her conversation with her friend. I was standing there for a good 30 seconds before she even acknowledged me. Before she said anything to me, she turned to her friend and said, “Hold on, I’ll be right back.” And then greeted us. Once we were sat down everything was going well. The server we had was very nice and we actually got our food fairly quickly. It wasn’t until after we left that we had more issues. I was so sick after leaving this place that I am convinced I got food poisoning as I was throwing up as soon as I had left from eating there food. Just to find out that they charged me way more than the bill at the end of the night said. Very disappointing. Now a week later I am still trying to get a hold of them to get my refund. They do not answer the phone!! Don’t bother leaving a message because they won’t call you back either.
