Great food, great vibes, and great service. This is an Ohio and Browns bar so be warned if those aren't your teams. But if you're looking for authentic Irish food and a good Guinness (glass cup and they wait on the pour) this is your spot! Plus, great game day deals!!

Truly the best bar staff in all of Chicago. Cold beers, good food. But the staff takes the cake. They are prompt, aware and friendlier than my kids kindergarten teacher. Best place to sit is towards the back. Great atmosphere. Amazing bar.

This place is great on a Saturday afternoon when you just wanna chill out with your friends and enjoy the game on TV. It’s definitely a neighborhood bar that has a following but it feels very welcoming to anybody else who is an outsider. It gets pretty busy but you still seem to be able to get a table for the most part and in the summer months they have an outside area as well.

Old school neighborhood bar that's open late 7 nights a week with a small patio outside, what else could you want?

The place is filled with regulars during the week and a younger late night crew which is pretty standard.

I never see anyone eating but we usually go for a few beers after work, so I'll update if we become adventurous enough to eat.

Here it is 2022 and I have to leave a review about a racist experience at a bar. Today I just went and sat down in front of the pub and was greeted by a really disrespectful server. He asked what I was going to order since I was sitting on his porch. I requested tequila and water and he did not want to serve me water until I paid my bill. When I asked of him To serve me inside he took my margarita and said leave. I do not recommend going here if you are a black woman.

This place was slow when we arrived and the service was quick and friendly. The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but we didn't go there for the food and it's not their focus either so I'm still giving it 4 stars... The chips were crispy and salty and my friend said the "sliders" were good though they definitely were just almost normal burgers on tiny buns. Over the 1.5 hours we were there, the place filled up and it didn't appear they had much more staff join. There was a good period of time (maybe even 30 minutes) where no one asked if we needed anything. We were seated at a table and technically it is a bar, so maybe the expectation was that we would go to the bar... I don't know but it wasn't communicated. Either way, it is a great spot for little hang out. The drink was good, a little pricey maybe but that is probably just the location talking.

Pretty disappointed in Vaughan’s. I just recently moved to Chicago from the Cleveland area and was excited to watch the Browns game & drink some Great Lakes beers. I checked online to confirm they had planned to have the game on their TVs, to which their Facebook page invited people to come watch the game (see attached). When I got there, they said the package they had didn’t include preseason…don’t advertise if you don’t have it!

Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

P.S. NFL+ is $6.99 per month and you put the wrong date of the Browns / Packers game in your Facebook post…

After a long day this neighborhood bar was right at home. Service was good, the pour 🫗 steady and atmosphere perfect. I feel you can get a good read on a bar by few things: their service, how empty your glass is and the restrooms.....cleanliness and do they have a shelf for your drink to free up your hands! This place has it all. When in the area this is a great place to "rest" a spell with "room" to enjoy your visit.
