This is a wonderful hidden gem restaurant in Woodside. We went when they opened today and ate at the bar. Will the bartender was outstanding! We had a great time interacting with him, and he was very informative. Actually the whole staff was really nice. Everything that we ate was really delicious! We started with a glass of Gosset Grande Reserve Champagne. We had warm cinnamon rolls, then we had the caviar and smoked sturgeon dip. My wife had the French Omellette Forestiere that she said was the best that she's had in years. I had the Acquerello Risotto with Alba White Truffles, that was so delicious, I wanted to lick the plate! It's almost the end of the season for Alba White Truffles, so I had to have them. The expresso martini that Will made was delicious. The wine list is really extensive, so you can always find what suits your taste. They also have a really nice covered outside dining area.
We've eaten here several times over the years and have never been disappointed.

A pub in name only, this is a fantastic restaurant nestled just outside of the hustle and bustle of the valley in Woodside.

Fine Dining Prix fixe (3 course) menu starting at $130, with options for everyone and additions available.

Amazing wine list with multiple sommeliers to guide you through the options.

Classic supper club atmosphere, steamed white table clothes, personal wait staff.

And amazing food.

Came in for a late dinner on Saturday. Active place even near closing time. We were seated promptly at a really nice table.
The ambience is excellent; red velvet booths and takes you back in time in a beautiful way.
The food was delicious; had the sunchoke veloute and pasta to start, the cornish hen roulade and the steak for mains, and the souffle and chai cake for dessert. All the items were delicious and several dishes had great interesting flavor/texture combinations that were quite unique and very pleasant. The chef was very accommodating.
Melody was our server and we were impressed by her professionalism and courtesy. This was our first time at the Village pub and we could tell we are definitely coming back.

Been there a few times and always a good experience, either for brunch or dinner the execution and presentation are great, totally worth the price! The staff is friendly and they take care of the little details. Can’t miss the steak of the caviar omelette.

Mel is the best server I have ever met in my life. Definitely ask for Mel, she is the perfect blend of professionalism and fun. She has excellent banter and is very smart. She always has great recommendations and pairings. Anyone celebrating a job promotion, birthday or Anniversary should seek out Mel at The Village Pub. Shout out to Juan Barajas the General Manager, (transitioning to Augustine, I believe) who always made me feel valued. Thank you Mel and the Village Pub Team!
