The bottomless mimosas here are top tier! The refills were so quick and they have a variety of mimosas to choose from. We got the cheese curds and they basically melt in your mouth. We got the taco pizza and the half order of fish and chips, both were delicious! We found the portions to be good size and filled us up. Will definitely be back again.

My friend and I stopped here for lunch, specifically because they were accepting dogs on their patio. We were in the area from out of town for a dog event, and this place was perfect. We ordered the artichoke dip as an appetizer, loved that it came with veggies and chips. We ordered a burger patty and chicken breast for the dogs' lunch, and they accommodated not seasoning them for the dogs! My friend and I both got fish and chips, the fries were amazing, and so was the fish! I loved the rootbeer, and would totally stop by here to eat again next time I'm in the area.

Ordered two different drinks off tap and while they tasted good, they weren't very cold..more like a chilled temp of 55°. So while not great in my eyes, whatever.

Food wise: gf ordered beer battered mushrooms and she said they were really greasy. I didn't pay much attention to it until I tried some of the batter and that's all I tasted was grease..it was like a sponge. The dipping sauce was a thick chipotle aioli and it mostly tasted of just mayonnaise--not good.

She got a Reuben with the special chipotle corn soup. You'd think the soup would be a cream based soup, but actually was broth based...odd. She had to add salt (she barely ever does that) to make it edible for her. It didn't really have any chipotle flavor either. Her Reuben she said was dry and the sauerkraut was not fermented enough.

I got their regular Mac and cheese and oh boy. This thing was swimming in a thick cheese sauce that I myself had to add salt and pepper to. And when I say swimming, I mean swimming. Don't get me wrong, I love sauce and love extra sauce on pasta, but this was so excessive I was separating the penne noodles from the sauce. While doing this I also was noticing the penne was way overcooked and would just break and peel apart from itself just with the movement of the fork. My bowl was just this goopy mess of thick cheese sauce and broken penne (I didn't finish it).

Needless to say, the meal sucked quite honestly. I would be willing to give it one more try, but I don't have high hopes sadly.

Arrived Friday at 11am just as they opened. We were seated quickly and our food was made to order specifications. The food is really good. We had the club and bacon cheeseburger. The kids meal Mac and cheese. No major complaints. They sat us on the bar side with the bartender waiting the tables on that side. That did not work out for us as after our food came we never got another refill until we asked for our check. Outside of that, great place.

I have been to The Tavern twice and I am sad to say I was dissapointed both times. The first time I went I ordered a margherita pizza which was not cooked all the way or cut all the way through, so I had to cut through a very doughy pie to get my slices. The tomatoes were not sliced but diced, which could be a personal preference, but the basil was chopped and, I'm assuming, cooked with the pie leaving it as just a thought and not as a centerpiece of a two topping pizza. Also, for $16.50, I was expecting a bit more pizza or something with higher quality.

The second time I went in I ordered a cubano, which ended up being more dissapointing than the pizza I had previously. If there was mustard on this sandwich I couldn't tell, but I could definitely tell there was globs of mustard seeds on top of the cheese and mixed with the flavorless and dry pulled pork. The mustard seed made the sandwich very bitter and did not blend well with anything else on the sandwich. The cappiculo, not ham, that sat on top of everything was too hard and the flavor was too overpowering for a simple dish like a cuban. There was no sign of mojo, the signature marinade in a cuban sandwich, which left me wanting. All of this combined with the fact that this sandwich had to be eaten open faced because of the plating made me very dissapointed. I don't expect every restaurant to have a plancha in the back but the least they could have done was toast it or pop it in a panini press for a few seconds. The fries were decent.

I also tried both of the mushrooms appetizers, choriza stuff and beer battered, and found them both to be uninspired and bland. The chorizo stuffed mushrooms were overcooked, leaving them flavorless and tough and the pepperjack cheese sauce on top did nothing for the dish but cover up how dry the chorizo was. The sauce had no flavor and I could not tell there was pepperjack. The beer battered mushrooms served only as a vehicle for the sauce as they had no flavor either. There is an earthiness that is desired in a mushroom dish and the fact that there was no flavor points to either low quality ingredients or a lack of cooking ability.

The drink menu is very good. They have a very healthy selection of cocktails and beers so if you're looking for a spot to have a drink this would be a good place. If you're looking for good food I would go somewhere else.

The Tavern at St. Michael's Square has a very nice decor, though a bit bright inside for a tavern, and plenty of televisions to watch while you're dining. The drinks are cheap and plentiful but the food is lacking, which after looking at the other reviews seems to be a common notion.

Love this spot. It is my go to for just taking a deep breath and relaxing after work or brunch with the fam. Service is always great and very friendly and their French fries are to die for. All the food is great and they have an awesome mimosa menu (bottomless mimosas on the weekends!)

Delicious food and great service. Would definitely return. Our server was attentive and kind. The atmosphere was chill and seemed like a lot of folks go there for a good time.

We made a reservation over a week in advance for a party of 16 and were assured there would be no issues accommodating us. However, upon arrival, our group was split into three separate sections, which was far from what we expected. When we raised our concerns, the manager responded dismissively and rudely, essentially telling us to deal with it. To make matters worse, the food quality was noticeably subpar compared to our previous corporate gatherings here. This experience fell far short of the standard we’ve come to expect.
