I wouldn’t say I’m a regular, but I enjoy going to this place. Every time we went there is always good time. Although last time I went on Sunday, it was so quiet and very few people. Unfortunately, I have never tried their legendary fish and chips!!! I will submit another review once I tried it.
We tried irish slammer and it was great! This place has many varieties of drinks, and their bartenders always know their stuff.

Great environment and food. Bartenders are always friendly and make excellent drinks. Just a few of my favorite tasty dishes available: bangers & mash, fish & chips, and mushroom burger. Chicken sandwiches are juicy. Seafood combo is excellent as well.

Great dive with full classy ambiance. Nice selection of drafts and spirits. Several TVs to accommodate sports fans for multiple games at a time. Have amateur comedy open mic and I think other things like karaoke mid week

Best burger I have had in ages! Staff very friendly. Bar area is dark, but the patio area is delightful. I was there with 12-14 singers and musicians, and it was a terrific place to gather and sing folk songs. They also have a nice upstairs room that you can probably reserve. Parking a little tough, but El Camino is just a block away, and I have always found parking.

The one time I finally decided to order food from this place....what a joke!

BE VERY SPECIFIC WITH HOW YOU ORDER YOUR "FISH and chips."

Word verbatim should be stated as follows and as clearly or else you'll be given NO choice but to pay for what was "repeated" on the other end:

"I would like ONE(1) order of the 3piece or 2piece fish and chips just ONE." If not stated exactly in those words, the order being taken by the individual who took my order tonight will then say, "would you like 3 coleslaw's with that order?"(as small of a side serving would make sense to say yes, how kind to offer 3coleslaws for each piece of fish.)

I picked up my order and did not want to argue about how the order was being repeated to me. So, I ended up paying for NOT 1 but 3 orders of the 3piece fish and chips.....and the "would you like 3 coleslaws w/ that"---what a rip off!!!!

Never ever ever will i ever order from this establishment again!!

With that being said, i shared the extra 2 3piece fish and chips and coleslaw w/ a family who appreciated a cooked meal.

Be very very mindful of your words when you order or else you'll get stuck w/ a larger tab than you expected!!!!!

I should have known what type of food & service I was about to get because as soon as I approached the bar, I was greeted by a couple of fruit flies. I ordered one fish & chips with a Guiness. The one fish I received was 1/3 size of one whole fish, so I was missing 2/3rds!!?
I think the cooking oil was rancid because the food had an odd after taste., not enjoyable.
Service okay. I was the only one in the bar. Although, two people had just left.
