Best food and atmosphere in Chico. The flaky crust of the hand pies and shepherds pie are other worldly, fresh and piping hot. You will not be disappointed. Great ales! Beautiful atmosphere. Don't miss this gem.

I attended a business meeting here with the owner, Stephen. This pup is just like the ones we have visited in cities in England and definitely gives that vibe. The artwork of the English bulldogs on the wall makes this place super friendly and one you would want to come and hang out with friends. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the owner is very kind and loves serving his guests. Would highly recommend the next time you’re in downtown Chico.

Visited twice this past week, ordered the same item. First time it was exceptional, ordered pasties by the way, which is why I took a different group back. Second time ordered same item, was a disappointment, the potatoes were hard and under cooked. Felt like I was eating raw potato. The crust was still good. Just a disappointment the food isn't consistent. Attribute it to possibly my second visit being a Friday night and it was packed, not sure. I will give it another try and see how it goes.

One of the best restaurants in Chico. I would never have thought to describe British food as delicious, but this truly is! The atmosphere inside feels like a cozy English pub. The patio outside is a beautiful oasis under a majestic oak tree.

The atmosphere and decor here are amazing! Staff is helpful and attentive. Pub style so you must order drinks and food yourself, no waiters. Menu items are true and authentic. Classics like pot pies and meaty hearty foods are available. Great selection of beer and also offer wine and bubbly. The owners are kind and love what they do. The whole experience was relaxing sitting in the beautiful patio. Definitely coming back. Parking isn't too bad but it is hidden behind the b of a. Bathrooms are clean and updated. Kid friendly depending on the hour.

One of my favorite places in Chico. Allies Pub is always a good time, whether dining inside (cozy interior, fireplace, beautiful ceiling) or outside (large patio under a tree with string lights and heaters). Staff are friendly and take pride in their business. We love to try the rotating beer taps. Pretzel with beer cheese appetizer is delish. Also highly recommend the pasties and shepherds pie. Dog friendly patio!

Great comfort food and drinks. Me and friend came here one night and while they have a limited food and drink menu, we were not disappointed. The drinks were great, the food was incredible and the staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.

Featured in the photos are the Bangers and Mash and Shepards Pie. (I don't recall the names of the drinks) Cheers! 🍻
