We contracted with this company to work with us in designing our home. The contract was for a 4000 square foot three story home for which we supplied 1/4 scale drawing for of the approximate lay out. His first rendition was completed in one day after signing the contact. That was a 7780 square foot home 2 story home with a 1300 square foot entryway. Not even close to our design.
After going back and forth he actually said to us in a meeting that it was hard to design a home for people that knew what they wanted. Unbelievable
We requested a third story powder bath which he left out then put it inside the kitchen.
We requested 2 separate toilet areas in the master. He put both toilets in the same room.
He drew the elevator shaft at 7 foot square when every home elevator company states 5 foot square which is the maximum for residential. He never even checked.
In the theater room we had a rectangle shape which is how all theater rooms are designed for best seating and acoustics. He made it square.
We had e makes many times that there was a definite disconnection between us. More that a month ago we had a meeting where he said he did not think he could do our project to which I pushed him on and stated that he actually did want to do the project.
He quit a week ago and provided us with absolutely nothing usable but is still trying to keep 75% of our $12000 deposit.
