Shamrock Club is the perfect spot when you’re lookin’ for a chill place to grab a drink with friends. It’s got that classic neighborhood bar vibe, but with a friendly crowd that makes you feel like you’re at home. I grabbed a beer, some wings, and a burger while I shot pool with my buddies. The wings were crispy and spicy, just how I like ‘em, and the burger hit the spot with that juicy, perfectly seasoned patty. I spent about $20 for a drink, wings, and a burger, and the whole experience was definitely worth it. Plus, the patio’s perfect for a warm day – you can’t go wrong here.

Stepping into Shamrock Club Chicago is like finding a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The drinks menu, while not extensive in fancy cocktails, offers delightful concoctions that hit the spot every time. Sure, the food might lean towards the ‘comfort’ side of the spectrum with a tad more oil than expected, but it’s the kind of fare that pairs well with a cold pint and good company.

Bathrooms are tiny and need a good cleaning but everything else was great.

Very terrible experience. As we walked in the person asked for ID, and had some attitude. I didn't think much of it as bouncers can appear that way sometimes. We got in and sat at the bar. I was feeling very dehydrated, so ordered us some water, and snacks. Our group was not very loud, and the bartender seemed very annoyed and said "what you aren't going to order any drinks?". My friend then ordered a drink and the bartender decided to kick us out, and wouldn't allow us to pay for the snacks and drink. He said "No you guys need to go". I asked why and he did not respond. We got up and left confused, and upset. I have never been kicked out from somewhere before. My friends and I are not the loud type, we go out maybe 3 times a year.

I can't think of any reason why we were kicked out other than racism. I did not see other groups of people who reassemble my friends and I. A reason atleast should of been given. No warning or anything was given, and there was no kindness or respect given to us either.

If you're reading this give them the boot like they gave us the boot. Very unprofessional.

On our weekly quest to enjoy a beer after work, we traveled to Shamrock Club. It’s pretty divey and goes surprisingly far back into the building. The service is all at the bar and works pretty well. We also ordered some fries which were fine but the free popcorn was much better.

I would not recommend this place at all.
The owner will confront anyone that she may overhear talking about conservative issues. She will approach you, spout her hateful comments to you and then kick you out of her restaurant. Don't go here unless you want someone eavesdropping on your conversations, confronting you, yelling and screaming, then kick your whole party out.

One of the few establishments in the area that are open late. Fun crowd, tons of things to do in the bar. Some of the nicest staff you'll meet too. Good selection of drinks.
