I hired SEO Design Chicago to create content, assist in backlinking, identifying and repairing technical issues, and overall help improve search rankings in dozens of important keywords.

They delivered on all of it, consistently. We were a 3 million session per year site and hit 5 million a year with them. The keywords I had them target were challenging ones too, KD of 70+ for most and a few at 90+.

At a time when content budgets were cut, they stepped in and helped maintain growth. We also had shifting priorities and SEO Design Chicago was able to pivot with us without complaint. In fact, I think they welcomed the challenge.

I most appreciated how they reported performance. It never felt like a sales pitch and never felt like they were trying to twist stats, as I've experienced with other agencies.

I would not recommend working with SEO Design Chicago as a small business owner. My experience was a year long disaster. This may be the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with in my 15 year career as a business owner.

The experience starts out with an over promise and under deliver from day one. I walk through the door wanting to get more information about their service from what seems to be the owner and a qualified employee. Quickly, after taking my money, I am passed to an unqualified unresponsive employee who I constantly have to track down.

I had two major deadlines in the first half of the year I need a website for and not only did they miss both deadlines they added products to my page I do not even sell so when my customers did arrive to my website. It was a complete embarrassment. I not only lost their business I had SEO Chicago take down my site, twice. The second event was the single most important event of my professional career. It was a horrible helpless feeling.

Having already paid. I wanted to talk to the owner Nick, who originally got me to sign up, but he avoided my calls, emails and request to have meeting. I was always passed off. Nick knew I was unhappy and hid from the responsibility of listening to his customer. To make things worse I discovered my alt text was converted from long elaborate descriptions of beautiful images to generic nonsense. That was then passed on to me as a professional solution. Only after I called them out would they admit the lazy mistake.

My website is good enough after over a year of having to work with them. To make things worse I said I wanted to part ways with the relationship and get a final review from my developer. She agreed and was happy to take me through the site. Instead she left the company without her or anyone telling me. I only found out because I reached out after a few months of not hearing from her.

I wish I could get the money and more importantly time back from working with SEO Design Chicago. I regret ever walking through that door. I would have given them one star but that just shows an angry customer. Two stars shows how genuinely disappointed I am.

We hired SEO Design to upgrade our previous site and they did the complete opposite. The team is not qualified to collaborate with a creative team and they continually missed the mark on all edits they presented to us. We ended up having to create our own website internally as the product they gave us was sloppy and unprofessional. I would not recommend anyone to this company as we are still fighting to get a credit back for the time they wasted with our staff.
