Great quality clothing and styles, glad to have found out about this brand during my trip to Tokyo! I also had a pleasant time shopping at Public Tokyo Shibuya thanks to one of the store assistants, Min. She was very patient in letting me try on different sizes and colours of a coat I wanted and taught me the different ways to wear them. Her service was impeccable and I felt very comfortable and happy shopping here.

As a foreigner shopping here, I felt welcomed and the staff member, despite not fluent in English, tried his best to communicate with me. Very nice gentleman and I enjoyed my time shopping here.

However, found a defect when I went back home, a button fell off from a the shirt.

ちょっとみてみようかなと店にふらっと入ったら、商品を見るより先にいきなり尋問が始まってびっくりした。
ファーストアプローチがあったので、ありがとうございますと笑顔で返すと、フレンドリーに会話出来ると思われたのか、この店はなにをきっかけで知ったんですか？今日はどこで買い物されたんですか？いつもどんなところで買い物してるんですか？古着が好きなんですか？と謎の一問一答形式。初対面で出会って3秒で重ね重ね質問されたので「ええ、、」と困惑してしまった。ちょっとみてみますねと返して終話したのですが、その困惑顔が嫌だったのかそのあとはまだ商品をみてても、ありがとうございましたと3回言われて追い出されるような形になってしまった。
普通に店に入っていきなりこんなことってありますか？
平和な休日を過ごしていたのに、嫌な気持ちになった。
全てのスタッフさんがそういうわけではないと思いますが、
なぜこんな気持ちにならないといけないのかと、びっくりと不快さで思わず口コミしてしまった。

特に魅力のない商品を押し売らなければならないため店員さんは効率を重視しており、それが軽薄で失礼な接客として表れているように感じます。店員個人の人格というより、企業文化だと思います。
そもそもこの企業のターゲットは、洋服への愛着が無く感度が低い若年層なので、その層から外れる人にとっては訪れるだけ無駄です。

関西弁のよく分からないギャグ連発で愛想笑いするのに疲れました。
あげく絶対試着した方が良いと言われて、それを断ったらもう「店にいない方がいい」と言われ接客をお辞めになりました。物はいいだけに勿体無い。

tokyo baseの店舗に接客を期待してはいけない。元々原価率50%くらいの低い利益率の商売なので、サービスよりも物で勝負している。なので、何も商品に関し下調べの無い状態の客にゼロから説明する手間が面倒なのだろうし、なるべく早く売りたい、が本音なのかと。なので、こちらで買う場合は事前にネットで下調べして目星をつけるような買い方をオススメします。

店舗の接客が若いノリすぎて引いてます。
一回りも歳下の若い子に「コレかわいっすよね？」
と声をかけられ店を出た。
いつもこんなフレンドリー接客で、まあブランド自体は好きなので星２つ。
