1 star is being nice. Outages at least once, maybe twice a month in my area for the past handful of months. The whole area, no extreme weather, every time. After a recent call we were told that in order to figure out the actual reason behind the area losing power routinely we'd need to hire an electrician. I'd recommend PSO if you have an affinity for darkness and a hatred of electricity.

We one of the first, to be without power. Said they would have it fixed by 2am. Still no power. 5 apartment complexes here. Including a senior comple . If your low or middle Income, your last to get your power back. Rates go up , service gets worse. Maybe it's time for Tulsa to go solar. I have insulin in the refrigerator. They won't cover it. Apparently tree removal takes an act if congress. If you can't remove it. There are plenty of tree services that know how. You want your money on time. WE WANT OUR POWER RESTORED IN A TIMELY MSNOR

I told them I moved out of my apartment July 15th and gave them plenty of notice. 2 months later I get hit with a $400 collection for a July bill. There is absolutely no possible way that I used $400 worth of electricity in half a month of living anywhere. They also are refusing to test the meter and are threatening me with more collections. I will be going to the city about this.

This has been the worst experience ever I first got told I could open a new account at my current address and then a few days later I get called and told I have an outstanding bill from 2018 and 2019 from an apartment I wasn't staying at. They send me a letter stating I owe 0.00 for said account. They let someone else call in and use my social security number which was stolen from me in 2019 and that I have a police report for. But now it's 84 degrees and me and my 6 year old are supposed to sleep here over night with no electricity until AEP opens back up in the morning to try and get them to at least let me make payment arrangements on a $381 bill that is NOT MINE. I can't wait to prove that it was not me staying at Apache Manor in 2019. You guys should treat people better I got multiple attitudes from everyone. Even got hung up on.

PSO blocked Lake Region from putting high speed internet at my house, so now I'm stuck with DSL @15mbps. I absolutely despise this company.

Terrible service. They will gouge you out of every penny you have. Someone should really step in and put a stop to places like this. This is America, we should at least have an option as to who we choose to pay for our electricity. Absolutely insane.

I feel bad for the linemen. They have a dangerous job and work for a business that seems questionable in its practices. I believe many reviews have been deleted. Why? Your bad reviews won't really have an effect on your business because of a somewhat monopoly. If we, customers, could use another company then yea, your business might take a dip; however, many customers don't have the luxury of having another company to go to. People can go to the BBB website to see the billing complaints that many customers have dealt with, so deleting Google reviews doesn't keep customers from seeing the bad, it just adds more time to search. If you would correct the problems customers have had, be more transparent in billing, and stop shutting off electricity without notices or reasons then bad reviews wouldn't be so prevalent. Too many outages(during good weather), making it extremely difficult to switch an account over, electricity getting shut off with no notices or explanations, mean/rude customer "service" attendants, loooong power restore times, and improper billing practices are things that will bring bad reviews. ADVICE FOR ADMIN: Read every bad review and learn from it. Yes, people get irritable, but you are supposed to be the professionals. Learn de-escalation techniques, remember that people NEED electricity and many can perish without it, and try to be nice and helpful as it will lessen the animosity from customers and you may start to feel pride in your job. Being nice/helpful and learning de-escalation techniques are things you can learn doing retail and they are great tools for every job. Doing those things can work, but your billing practices and shut off notices/reasons need a massive revision. Again, I feel really bad for the linemen. If a company treats it's customers poorly then imagine the treatment towards workers that are low on the employee pole. LINEMEN: my power came on this morning and it felt like y'all fixed it quicker than normal, so THANK YOU! Also, stay safe. I heard some concerning things that happened in Houston and Oklahoma always sends help when Texas needs it, but protect yourselves from crazies and come back home SAFE! Gave two stars for the linemen. 0 stars for admin. I miss Verdigris Valley Electric, but PSO can do better than what they are now. If it'll get you motivated to fix your problems then I'll say this: You can be and do better, I believe in you.
