I don’t like to put bad reviews on local places. This is someone’s dream… but a blah experience is a blah experience. This place is pretty mediocre. The drinks were tasty and reasonably priced, and our server was very nice, but the food was barely “just ok.” Also, it’s not a full bar.

I very rarely say I won’t go back after a single experience, but this place is pretty far away without any compelling reason to try again.

We stopped by after a weekend in wine country 🍷🍇 The Asian Cauliflower is way better than Dave’s Not Chicken cauliflower 🍗🐓 Crisp and tasty with a lime wedge, but not oily.

The atmosphere was both hip and relaxing ☕️ Highly recommended for drinks or lunch!

Not sure why it's called a pub, apart from having a bar. Interesting menu, though. The fried chicken Caesar was delicious. The fish and chips were good, but the fish batter was a bit overcooked. The burger with crispy pork belly was a tasty burger, with a good BBQ sauce but the pork belly was underwhelming, not that tasty and certainly not crisp. The service was ok but a bit too keen to clear away the plates. The decor was a bit stark, with just a few enlarged photos on the wall, not very pub like. Overall, a decent enough place for lunch.

Patio dining is very comfortable and private. You feel as if you are on a private patio in someone's well maintained yard. The food and service was great. I've been here several times and never sat outside! How did I miss this? Every meal I've had I have enjoyed. The Brussel sprout tacos are one of my favorites! Who would've thought taco and brussel sprouts would go together. Well, Pub Republic put it together with flavor and zest! Great experience.

Great atmosphere with amazing food. So happy we stopped here! The beet salad was perfect for me, and my brothers enjoyed their ahi tuna tacos and pork belly burger as well. Highly recommend sharing the Parmesan truffle fries too.

We all enjoyed the food, my Brussels sprouts tacos were excellent, ahi burger, crab cakes and French toast with chicken all very good. Only drawbacks are that the patio, while near a stream and green belt, has a high fence so you can’t see it. And a few waiter problems, wrong order for one, then a few times not knowing which table was getting what.

Nearly done with exploring sites around Sonoma and Santa Rosa, Pub Republic was snack time and a beer. Early afternoon and the Sunday brunch menu was wrapping up so we just got drinks and split a "to share."

Good service though she disappeared after serving our food. Another drink would have been possible but by the time she returned, we were indeed ready to go.

The "Crispy Pork Belly" was delicious. One-inch cubes of pork belly (basically bacon) with a carrot ginger puree, roasted shallots, pickled onion and jalapeno with an orange chili sauce. Nicely presented but I really wonder why they put five on the plate instead of four or six. How do you properly share five of something?

Lots of other good options here - tacos, salads, burgers and higher end pub food. Not cheap but what is in California?
