Ok so first the positives. The servers are very nice outgoing and do a good job. The in house ales are traditionally brewed in style and strength with most being good with some bordering on very good. With a nice couple of hand pulls or beer engines as they are called stateside. The single malt collection is spectacular and a surprising turn up for the books.
What I would change as a Brit and a business owner.
Update the website. Prices menus and style are all years out of date.
Tell people you have the best collection of single malts outside of Scotland. It’s your secret weapon!
Update the menu. British pubs have not had this type of food for 30 years. British gastro pub style has come a long way since the 80’s get the USA owner to travel to the UK to school himself.
Deep clean and new decor. Sticky carpets and tables are not endearing. “Time to lean time to clean”! That includes the kitchen.
On the whole the staff are doing a great job but with one hand tied behind their backs by the owners lack or attention to detail and duty of care.

This place is great! I've seen it for a while, but I never went. My food is really good, I had a burger. I had three of those British beers. People in America may not like it but it's really good! I tasted some of their whiskey and that's the best part! This place is great hands down!

I went back for another beer a couple days later. I'm not a whiskey drinker but whoever is, needs to check this place out for sure! Actually scotch whiskey. My wife went as well and she said it was really cool. She got the pills near beer and she said it was real good. Top marks!

Came here for lunch while visiting Denver! Looked like a neat spot so we came in. The host/waiter wasn’t the most welcoming or personable. The atmosphere was very cool and you could smell the malt and ingredients in the air too! We ordered two waters and beers to start as well as an appetizer. The few beers I had were excellent and they do good with their brewing of traditional beers. The waters never came and we had to ask three times. It wasn’t busy at all here while we were there either. The house made vinaigrette was great and so was my sheep herders stew. The fish and chips wasn’t exactly what we had expected. It was neat and we’d come back

Flew into Denver yesterday and after a 9 hour flight with an extra hour to get to the hotel, all I needed was a 3 minute walk to the pub? When I got there, the staff were very friendly and asked me questions about England which was nice. I ordered the fish and chips and can say that the chips were so tasty but that salmon was cooked to perfection. The chef brought me the meal out and then asked if I needed anything else. Soon after he asked me if all was okay with the meal and we got chatting about crisp sandwiches and the massive selection of alcohol they had?really nice atmosphere. Lovely food and the best start to a holiday.

Great place with good music and pages of fancy whiskey options! The service was above and beyond, and the food was a solid 10/10. Truly an absolute hidden gem—highly recommend checking it out!

Enjoyed the "cask conditioned" IPA. Nice to have something different from the "normal" I've visited a number of times. Enjoyed each and every visit. The IPA was $6

Stumbled across this place on a rainy Saturday after spending the morning at the Art museum. Huge selection on single malts. Burger was cooked perfectly. I wish I lived near here so this could be my regular place. The Triumph Tiger Cub was a nice touch.

Food is good; a warm, welcoming, comfortable atmosphere; very good service. The gravy is excellent. The blue cheese dressing has real cheese. The house vinegarette is very good. Loved the brown ale. The Sheppard's Pie is perfect for lunch. Staff is helpful.
