Ve try good prices, the food comes out fast, and the food is very good. Very very happy and will be back.

Stopped in with a co-worker after a long day of work and this was nearly the only place open still serving food at 11p. There weren't many tables available (a good sign to me), our waitress was very nice, and the food was hot, tasted good, and came out fast. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking a late meal or a place for a late hangout.

A nice bar in downtown with cheap drinks and a good amount of food options that looks closer to a restaurant! We got the following things:

1. A bowl of potato leek which comes with soda bread. The bowl was perfect size to share for two people. The bread was a little sweet. It felt like a few bacon bits on top would have completed the leek soup alas it was still good.

2. Loaded potato skins. They were a bit on the bland side but that might be just the dish itself.

3. Sausage rolls. These were really good with the pastey being so fluffy and flakey especially. Quantity was a little less though with literally just 4 bites other than the salad.

4. Chicken tenders with sauce on the side. These were much better than you regular tenders and not too heavy.

Also there was not much loud music making this perfect to have conversations. Will definitely visit again!

Amazing food and real beer on draft in a casual relaxing environment. Need I say more?

I shouldn't, but here goes if you need to be convinced. To start, service was excellent. The bartender greeted us when we entered and told us we could sit anywhere we liked. When we found the corner we wanted, we had a waitress swing by with ACTUAL menus and water to start us off until we could get drink orders in (don't worry if digital menus are your thing, they have that covered too but call me old fashion as I still like a physical menu). While placing our orders for drinks and food, our waitress gave us her personal recommendations and insight when asked, which again is a nice touch that shows the staff fully understands their menu along with what's popular. Plates were cleared without delay when we each finished our meals and she checked up on us regularly, but didn't hover or make us feel forgotten.

Oh, the food! You ever have those moments growing up where your appetite exceeded your stomach size and you willfully wanted to eat until you were sick? Their Guinness braised Irish beef stew reminded me of those moments. If you're wanting something more unique, their Casey Dilla (yes that's spelt correctly) with shredded corned beef is an excellent small plate that I plan to shamelessly copy at home when I can't get my fix in person.

Great Irish pub. Our server was excellent! Portion sizes were great, and I appreciated that they allowed me to make a substitution (pictured below the Beef Stroganoff & the September Chicken Dinner special w/fries instead of veggies & irish soda bread)

Update: I came back for a second round of the Halibut and Chips and the the result was the same perfection. The other update is that the fries were much better this time, fried enough to be crispy without being too oily. The col slaw per my wife who ate that side again was about the same. Overall, excellent service in a friendly environment, serving delicious food, beer, and whiskey. Below is my original review of this place and I'll add in the new picture of the meal for comparison.

This place is a rare gem that is an absolute must go. I ordered the April special, Halibut Fish and Chip. It is by far the best I've ever had, the portion size was ample and the chef that prepared this cooked it with passion and finesse. To fries were lacking a bit but when dipped in a katchup and Guinness wing sauce combo... Amazing! I didn't get to try the col slaw due to my dairy restriction but my wife said she enjoyed it. To wrap the meal portion up, the Fish was perfection.

The whiskey here was nothing short of delicious and balanced. The bartender working was incredibly knowledgeable and described things in just the right amount of detail.

I'll absolutely come back again.
