I was floating through town and had a conference to attend and needed a private and quiet space to do so in the early hours on a Saturday. Paul was incredibly responsive and accommodating, exhausting all options to ensure I was able to use the space at the time needed. Though the space was a bit warm, so is the rest of the PNW with the heat wave; a portable fan was an easy solution along with frequent visits to the beautiful balcony overlooking the water. If I'm ever in the area again and am in need of a co-working space, I would definitely book a room again.

I wish I was in Astoria 24/7 so I could work in Open Office everyday. It’s an immensely beautiful space, with huge windows, ancient wood framing, and unparalleled natural light — I specifically visited to have an important zoom call.

Looking out the windows at the bay, boats, and wildlife puts things into perspective.

A true hidden gem in Astoria! The co-working space's vast windows frame an inspiring water view. It's a fantastic environment for work with blazing-fast WIFI. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a great workspace. Shoutout to Paul for being super-friendly and making it easy to settle in!

A hidden gem that I hope will not remain hidden for too long.
I rented a private workroom at Open Office Astoria in March 2020, right before the pandemic hit. I was happy at the affordable rates given the fantastic location, allowing me to work while my family enjoyed the beach.
Paul was an excellent communicator, quick to respond, and accommodating to my special requests regarding office hours.
Open Office is equipped with all the amenities you expect in a co-working space: a shared kitchen, printing facilities, high-speed wifi and easy, secure access to the building. The bathroom is clean, and shared with a couple of other businesses on the same floor.
But beyond that are the incredible views! Open Office is located on Pier 12, where the Columbia River rushes to meet the ocean. I was treated to a beautiful and memorable sunrise right as my work day started (see the video). During the day, I continued to enjoy the vista, the hustle of maritime activities, and the occasional sounds of sea lions.
I had good neighbors in the Friends of the Columbia River association, who also occupied a work room at Open Office.
Highly recommend, and will visit again.

The space is beautifully located on the riverwalk. Paul, the onsite manager, was very friendly, accommodating, and responsive. It was great to find a place to work while stopping through town on vacation. I would use them again!
