My wife and I stopped here while on vacation. We got the Guinness Glazed Peanuts and the house-made Parmesan Chips, as we were just snacking before dinner reservations. Holy cow were these good! The bartender (maybe the owner, we didn’t get his name) was so nice too. He made us feel welcome and at home, and made us some killer drinks! I wish we lived local, as we’d probably come in a lot. The next time we’re in the area, we’ll definitely be stopping by again! Such a cool little spot!

Been wanting to go here for a long time. I usually go to barnyard a lot. Very quiet place. I went before 5:00 on a Friday.

Very clean place and inviting. It's upstairs and options for a wheelchair access might be limited. I walked up the stairs from the parking lot.

I got the Guinness on tap which is a plus and the Fish and chips. 3 pieces of fish, smaller portions but I was very content with the quality of the food and they had Seasoned french fries.

A very upscale pub for adults.

I would definitely recommend it for people who want a nice, comfy environment.

When we were planning our wedding in Carmel, we needed a place for our afterparty—a spot where friends could keep the celebration going into the night. O'Callaghan's turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s open until 2 AM and conveniently located just across the parking lot from our hotel. It ended up being a great gathering spot not only for our wedding afterparty but also for our welcome dinner guests who weren't involved in the early morning activities!

Guinness was properly poured, the shot glasses were plentiful, and the DJ was spot-on, playing all the hits we were hoping for. We had an absolute blast.

Although the kitchen closed by 10 PM, the staff were super chill about outside food. We grabbed pizza downstairs and brought it back, and they even provided hot water for our late-night ramen favors.

A big thanks to the team at O'Callaghan’s for being such a big part of our wedding weekend!

Had my 40th bday at oCallaghans! Brent and the team knocked it out of the park! Was an excellent time, great food, amazing atmosphere, service was excellent and super friendly. But y’all… the cake… above and beyond! I can’t say enough good things and will be back many times!

Had dinner there last night .The quality and freshness of the food is superior. Service is excellent.And if you want a great meal for great prices this is the place to go.
We can't wait to go back again.

This place has it all. It is on the second floor and has an atmosphere that I would describe as open and happy with lots of conversations and laughter. It is obvious the locals eat here which is a great sign. The owner talks with the patrons and cares about his food and it shows. The food is AMAZING. The nachos. Homemade sliced potatos. The burger is cooked exactly how I asked for it. The stew is amazing and so tender. Best place I have eaten in both Carmel and Monterey in my 5 day stay. The menu is not huge but that's a good sign because it means that everything on it is made perfectly. Prices are honestly a steal. Very affordable for the area. Would be the first place I eat next time I come back to the area.

Very lively with great live band this evening on the terrace. The food is great. We had some delicious appetizers and classic Irish entrees that were wonderful, and hit the spot after a long day. Oh, and the whisky and beer selections are great too. Will be making regular stops.
