Great neighborhood joint with amazing service. We really enjoyed the calamari, the roasted half chicken and the chicken sandwich. The salmon was under cooked and the lamb shank is lacking some flavor. Would still like to try their other entrees and desserts next time.

All around, pretty darn good. Got the steak frites and added the prawns. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. Fries were were good. The salad was a perfect addition. The pepper corn sauce was ok. I perfered to dip my fries in the sauce rather than pour it over the steak. Steak had good flavor on it's own. Good atmosphere. A bit loud which didn't bother me & people enjoying themselves.

My friend and I stumbled upon O’Brien’s after dining at Dumpling Kitchen just across the street on Taraval. From the outside, it appeared quiet, but the lively atmosphere inside with regulars was a nice surprise. The bar was buzzing with excitement, thanks to the Giants game on the screen. The interior surpassed our expectations, creating a warm and inviting ambience. Parking in the vicinity was hassle-free, which is always a plus.

Our server was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Although we were stuffed from dumplings, we decided to indulge in cocktails, beer, and dessert. Following our server's recommendation, we tried the blueberry-twist bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream on top, and it was delicious, great choice.

We couldn't help but notice other patrons enjoying some mouthwatering entrees. Next time we're in the area, we'll definitely return to sample from their full menu. It’s a fun place for a relaxing evening with friends. We'll be back for more!

I dont have a nice picture of the chicken curry (with broccoli and beans) with half fries and half rice cause I was so hungry that I dig into it right away. We also loved the Manhattan and dark Manhattan that our bartender made. We're definitely going back for more drinks and the Irish coffee. Thank you for the amazing service.

My wife and Myself had a wonderful dining experience at O'Brien's bar. We walked away very pleased indeed. We ordered a bunch of appetizers starting with the popcorn shrimp which was absolutely divine, then the potato croquets which came with a drizzle of spicy sauce. We then proceeded with the caprese which was a mix of Barata, tomatoes and strawberries. That along with a mix of garlic fries and another appetizer that I can even think of the name. All in all we had a great experience and will definitely be back again.

Great service, food, and atmosphere. been here a few times now and have tried to put it in my rotation as it's such a cool spot.
plenty of seating at the bar or at tables to eat. the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the food was prepared quickly. a few tvs behind the bar. you can find parking within a couple blocks usually.

As a born and breed sunset girl aka Avenues girl. I love having this place near my moms.
The bf and I went last minute after a fiasco at another restaurant and thank GOD cause this place is spectacular!! We have been for brunch before and liked it but dinner!!! The best!! The chicken is nest I've had anywhere in the world. In terms of cook and lightness. The cottage pie was good too, not exactly Shepards pie. Only critique it could have used some spice but that's personal. The staff was great, friendly fun and personable. I hate I can't remember our waitresses name. Anywho def will be back. The have 4 Irish beers on tap which the bf loved. The drinks look great. No nad things to report tbh. So we r super thrilled.

I've been here a few times to watch 49ers games. It's never too crowded, and I always manage to get a seat right in front of one of the big screen TVs. The atmosphere isn't too rowdy, and the bartenders are attentive and friendly. The food is also really good
