Excellent price for unlimited around $40mo. I'm getting speeds of 26.8 Mbps constant. Never any problems streaming even two movies plus gaming at once. No buffering like HughesNet.
Had some downtime off and on for short periods while they were working on getting new equipment on the poles and lines installed, but got a letter informing of this a week or so before so it was expected.
We had an issue with one of the modem/box and they came out and replaced it. It took a couple of days for an appointment opening.
Also had home phone unlimited service added for $15 a month. I'm a very happy customer.

If you want inconsistent speeds and a customer service that never fixes the problem only continues to blame everything they can. Then this is the perfect service for you. I have only had this service for 5 months and after 2 months there have been constant outages and inconsistent speeds. I have to call 2 a week, and three weeks later nothing has been fixed.
Update: now I can no longer contact them when my internet down. They only transfer me to a post call survey. Plan to switch as soon as I can find another internet provider.

My review relates only to local service (the corporate call center was less responsive and rude). We had a service outage on a Sunday morning and needed service restored before the work week started as my husband is working from home due to the pandemic. The manager of the local office himself came out to address our issue and was very patient and polite. The problem was difficult to troubleshoot and he took a lot of time diagnosing it. He checked everything externally and replaced the modem and, finally, it seemed a small part had gone bad and our service was restored. I was impressed with his diligence, knowledge, and attention to detail as well as professional attitude.

This is my third installation (3rd new address) and every time there has been an issue. This is the second straight installation where they want to drill a new hole and run new line. I can’t tell if the technicians are incompetent or if the whole town has F’d up cable wiring. The technician did come by later and try something new. I now have cable. It’s fantastic. The technician was very helpful and pleasant. There may still be an issue, as there is an electrical current detected in the cables, but for now everything is working great.

Horrible "customer service", routine interruptions of internet service even after lines have been repaired. I honestly feel that the worst part is we have been loyal customers for 4 years and they keep raising our rates! $70+ a month just to connect to the internet?! Thanks for "rewarding" your loyal customers! when we talk to them about getting a lower rate, they said they only provide a low rate to new customers! We would have to disconnect service for a few months and sign up again. Only reason we haven't switched to another company yet, is that we refuse to do business with AT& T and being in a rural area, there just aren't many options. You pretty much get screwed wherever you go here.

Internet service. Tech service was fine. The only reason I'm doing a review and I never do reviews is because of customer service. Our house burned down in a fire and the guy said I had to pay for the equipment. Seriously? It burned down. Then he told me I had to ask landlord? I'm speechless. Was going to go back when we found a house. Despise business with no heart. Thanks for your time though. Really disappointed.

The service actually started out great... For about the first year. After that it went downhill just about overnight. I started to have very inconsistent speeds and the packet loss was outrageous (especially at peak hours). Literally made playing video games online impossible. A service rep suggested that I was just trying to do too much for the one line and suggested we add another. So I did. We now had one modem at 24mbps and the other at 18mbps. That didn't resolve my issue. Now I was just paying for TWO lines instead of ONE... After a couple calls to their tech support they decided to send out a tech. He basically said the grid was operating at over 100%, and that was the source of the issue. He left it at that. After about 2-3 months of waiting for them to upgrade the grid (i understand that a major grid overhaul would take time), i called again because nothing had improved. I was just looking for answers... An expected date really was all I wanted. The customer service rep I spoke to was unable to give any sort of timeline at all. Couldn't narrow it down to the next few months or even years. That's just simply outrageous and no way to run a business. I cancelled and switched to AT&T... That was the last thing I ever wanted to do.

I see that they're going to soon be offering 100mbps... Which I would love, but I am EXTREMELY skeptical that they would be able to offer anything close to this speed reliably.

What a shame.

Everyone is going to share their negative experiences, and most will not share the positives.
The customer service has always been great for me. The technicians that come are very helpful and nice also. The best internet provider in Siskiyou County I think.
