I’m generally not a person who writes reviews, but I just had to put it out there how ecstatic we are to be working with David and Andreas at Marketing Type Guys.
I moved us to Marketing Type Guys in January of 2015, when our previous SEO Company (who was recommended by an affinity group we belong to) fouled up our online presence so badly with Google that I was told it would take anywhere from
6 to 12 months to correct all the damage that was done.
As a result, to say I was now suspicious of all “experts” in SEO, was a massive understatement. I didn’t know what to do but…
I had met David Peterson a few years ago at an HVAC trade show, and I remembered how knowledgeable he was, and how easy it was to understand his answers to all my SEO questions.
So I called him, explained our situation, and he said “I know we can help you.”
And they did.
What was supposed to have taken 6 to 12 months to correct, took Marketing Type Guys just a few weeks.
They pulled out all the stops, and they were relentless in their pursuit to fix the mess we were in - I honestly don’t think they slept at all!
Then once we were free to pursue all things online, they got our Google+ space working perfectly – and our calls went up 30%.
Then they got our pay-per-click campaigns working properly – and our calls more than doubled – plus the calls we’re getting are from qualified buyers in our target market.
If you want to talk bottom line – the first month they took over our online presence, our revenue went up 44% over the same period last year.
We can’t wait to see what they’re going to do with the SEO for our new website, which is due to launch later this year; our online reputation management; expanding our PPC to reach even more potential clients; and developing out our social media.
Hiring Marketing Type Guys was one of the best decisions we’ve made.
They understand us, our target market, and our industry (Plumbing & HVAC).

I would like to give my highest recommendation to David! My ads account was disabled by Facebook for violating some of their guidelines — and they didn’t even tell me which ones — they left me high and dry to figure out what it was that I had done wrong. I had lost all of my Facebook ads capabilities! Completely beside myself over it, I decided to call the Marketing Type Guys (I see their sign all the time driving down 285) and explained everything to David. By some sort of wizardry, he was able to get my ads account back up and running within 48 hours of our phone call! I am so grateful for his prompt customer service and abilities! I’m a local Realtor®, and just like you could sell your home by yourself, you could run Facebook ads by yourself... but I wouldn’t recommend it, unless you know exactly what you're doing.

When it comes to Facebook ads, if you're not well-versed in graphic design, keyword research, writing copy, knowing your demographic, and staying within Facebook guidelines, you should really consider hiring the pros at Marketing Type Guys!

I've been in business now for almost 5 years. I wanted to take my website to the 'next level' and I have a business acquaintance who told me great things about these guys. I sat down with them and explained what I would like for them to do; and they did it. No muss no fuss. The resulting website (in my opinion) is just awesome, I love it. I checked the SEO score on my old website and it paled compared to the SEO score on my new one. Once my website had gone live, I got my first phone call based on someone seeing it within about 4 days, compared with receiving maybe 4 calls in total in the space of about 3 years on my old website. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
