Came through the area with a friend looking for a spot to have a drink or two. Popped in and the staff were friendly, the drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. The bathrooms were also clean. We didn't get food so can't say one way or another there, but had a great experience, would stop in again.

A perfectly serviceable Irish bar. I remember going here with my friend 18 years ago. The reason why I remember it is because it was a pivotal moment in both of our lives and it happened that this bar. Without going into it, it changed the trajectory of two separate lives. It was fun going back here all these years later. They even have the exact table that I sat at during that important day so long ago. This is an unconventional review, but take it forward. Is, maybe this typical Irish bar will end up meaning more for you as well?

Terrible service. They don't split bill, are rude, don't remove ingredients from the plait (you have to remove it yourself), and aggressive.

I'm not from US, I was traveling with my family, they didn't explained about the tipping process (how much it should be or else), so the waitress slammed the bill on the table aggressively over the amount of tip we had given. The service had already been average/bad and she still acted that way. On top of that, she complained about us to the other customers.

Would never go again.

Nearest Irish Pub to the Beacon Theater that I could find. Went for a few pre-concert libations and it did not disappoint. Our bartender, Mary was excellent, bar food was great, good drinks and good Guinness. Only complaint was the lack of proper 20 oz. Guinness glasses, they had the smaller 16's.

If you want to drink, they have alcohol. If you want sports to watch, they have tv's on almost every inch of the bar's walls. If you want incredible food, go elsewhere :).

The burger and onion rings were awesome! But we also saw multiple roaches running ON THE BAR, which I guess is on par for a dive bar. Service was great and friendly, but I wasn't expecting a $100 tab for 6 beers and 2 burgers. Not sure what I expected from an UWS dive bar but it kinda delivered. I had a good time, but probably won't go back to be honest.
