First the fact that this place was pet friendly was a major reason we chose this place. They even bring out a dog bowl of water for your baby. But also the food looked amazing. And they did not disappoint. It was great we sat outside on the patio. The servers where always around asking if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.

If you like big portions, this is a place for you. The calamari was amazing = 5 stars. The mac & cheese can be made to order - great for your picky eater. Two of us split a fish & chips & the fish was pretty good, but the sides were iffy. Someone in our group ordered wings they did not like - not crispy & sauces come on the side. The servers were fun, but very busy. Go here, not in a rush, for bar food & drinks. I liked it, but some in our group were not fans.

Sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere. The servers all share duties so you are well taken care of. We had the cottage pie and shepherds pie, both were excellent. Finished off with the homemade bread pudding. Get one to share as it is huge.
The only distraction was a little girl who was playing in the grass section who kept running through the dining area. No fault of the restaurant, but had to keep watching so we didn't trip her as she blasted through.

A super busy and lively, yet quaint and warm pub. It sincerely has such a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a family meal. It was walk-ins only with no reservations.

We started with the Caprese Salad and Soup du Jour (potato leek). The Caprese was one of the best I've had, with meaty mozzarella, fresh, crisp tomatoes, with a nice bed of greens underneath; the two breadsticks on the side were a wonderful final touch, adding some carbs to the appetizer. The soup was nice and warm, a little sour, and had a touch of spice; it went great with oyster crackers. Both appetizers came out super fast, within minutes of ordering.

The entrees took about 20 minutes to come out, and we ordered the Moroccan Lamb Burger, which was a good, well-crafted burger but not exactly what the one ordering envisioned; the Steak and Guiness Stew; the 16oz Steak, which was cooked perfectly; the Corned Beef and Cabbage, which was a little tougher than expected, but was still delicious paired with the perfectly cooked cabbage with mash filling; the Truffle Mac and Cheese, which had a strong truffle flavor, with a great cheese pull, firm macaroni, and a crispy top; and the Fish and Chips, which came with two pieces of decent, fresh and crispy haddock with soft tender flesh on the inside.

Finally, we ended our meal with the bread pudding which came warm with scoops of ice cream, and was ok - but we're not the biggest fans of bread pudding, so a bit of an experiment.

Summary: Would love to give higher rating for good food but service was horrible.

Good food but one of the worst services I have ever received in a restaurant. Upon entering we patiently waited in the waiting area for a host to seat us since the sign said so. But even after 30 mins no host came to seat us. In the meanwhile, other guests who walked in after us, proceeded to just go inside the dining room and seat themselves after talking to a waitress. Note, there are empty tables and we were the only people waiting. We got impatient after 30 mins so I also went to bug a waitress but she told us to wait for a host. Finally we got seated after a while. We were ready to immediately order since we stared at the menu while waiting 30 mins. Food was good, it’s a shame the service isn’t as good. Even during service, it was hard to flag down a waitress despite it not being busy (the waitresses were chatting amongst themselves by the bar)

One of our favorite spots to grab food in South Lake Tahoe! The portions are big, the service is friendly, and the food is consistently good. Plus, you get a 10% discount if you’re staying at Hotel Azure. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing place! A lot of people when we went (means it's popular) but seated quickly. People are fantastic! You don't just get one person helping you, they just bounce around helping everyone. Really cool! Food was really good. I got the Mac N Cheese (they allow you to add pizza toppings if you want!) Fun atmosphere!
