Checked out Irish Times the other night with my girlfriend, who spent years studying in Ireland, and it was a fantastic experience. The two bartenders, who were authentically Irish, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They swapped stories about Ireland and even taught a Yank like me more about the culture. Between the shots of Jameson, perfect pints of Guinness, and the warm hospitality, this place is the real deal. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Stopped here while in town for a conference to catch a couple hockey games over a drink. This really is a great Irish bar and highly recommended. I ended up getting the Shepards pie, which came out PIPING hot and it was very delicious. I was quite surprised when it was delivered with actual HP sauce, nice touch.

Drinks were great, staff were STELLAR. Multiple TVs, so we all got to watch what we came for.

the service is very slow in the hall there are only two people working, we waited for the menu for about 15 minutes then the food came and we waited for the check for about 20 minutes and no one came up to us! in this restaurant, if you yourself don’t ask anyone, you will sit and wait .... no one offered us water initially and we had to wait for some time to catch the waiter and ask for water. they also don't have a drinks menu, or rather, it is on the wall ... on the positive side - they have a good bartender woman, she told us about the drinks and made them pretty quickly. Very tasty food and drinks that could not but please. As for the atmosphere, the hall and restroom are quite pleasantly decorated. the women's restroom was clean and decorated with beautiful paintings.

I've walked by Irish Times many times over the years but last night finally decided to drop in for a bite with a few friends. I didn't realize they served food until my friend saw it on Google Maps.

Their Bangers and Mash has got to be the best I've ever had (the dish is my go-to Irish pub food order), and I've been to Dublin! And the owner Jack, who is originally from Galway, was very friendly and made us feel right at home. Perfect spot for pub food if you're out late in the Financial District

We did Alcatraz, hit City Lights Books, and then we needed a bathroom and a drink, in that order. We had planned to have dinner in Chinatown, but Irish Times stood out in a quick Google search and was within a 9 minute walk. We thought it would be a bathroom break and one adult beverage, but it turned into dinner. Food was very good, and the food and drinks were the most reasonably priced we had come across during our visit, but what stood out was the much overworked gentleman behind the bar who doubled as our server. The man was a gentle giant and very accommodating. He went above and beyond. Made me a fantastic Old Fashioned. Great find!

Came in with our pup and we were welcomed as if we were neighbors. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The service was friendly and quick without feeling as if we were rushed. The food was delicious, we ordered the fish and chips as well as the buffalo chicken sandwich:FIRE came w/ curry fries and needless to say I was very happy. Feels like just our local watering hole in the middle of the big city. We'll definitely be back! Did I mention this place is dog friendly 🙂

It was pretty rude of the bartender lady to be looking at the card machine while I was paying for my drink. Once done I was being harassed for 20% tip at the bar after the payment was done . Not going here ever again.
