Absolutely quintessential local dive bar. Good selection of whisky and beer. Hot food with traditional items you’d expect (Shepards pie, Reuben, etc) as well as less common favorites like fries with poutine. Darts, Golden Tee, and a digital jukebox stand out in contrast to a very worn interior.

But you don’t go to a place like this for the decor. You go for cold drinks and warms smiles. Sarah, one of the bartenders is amazing and has been there 10 years. Customers and employees both show their loyalty to this place.

Neighborhood dive bar. They were out of regular Jameson when I was there, which is probably punishable by death in Ireland. The cook didn't come in until 4:30, so the food is limited. I got the large fish fry and it was quite good and a huge portion, though the fries were obviously store bought. The menu itself is somewhat limited and packed a lot of the Irish specialties i had seen online. They do have the decency to say that the pizza is frozen, but I suspect a lot more of the food is packaged as well. The men's bathroom had urinals that didn't flush with ice and lemons in them. Haven't seen that since I bailed on campus bars. The stools should've been replaced 10 years ago, much like the rest of the interior. The regulars that occupy it were generally friendly and not obnoxious.

Woodchuck on Tap I shouldn’t have to say anymore, but I will. You can tell that since 1922 there has been no shortage of Irish American fun inside the walls of this pub. This was a great stop. I’ll be back next time Im passing through these parts. slainte!

Great little find in Diamond Lake. The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is different, and yet familiar. It's a shot and a beer place, with great food the people who work there are friendly, and attentive. Just a good place. I wish it was closer to where I live.

Bar Mom was awesome. She served up the beers quick. I Got the fish fry because a sign on the wall said best fish fry in lake county. I had my doubts, but after seeing the size of the fillet and tasting it, it might be the best in the county. Make sure you check out the 3 legged ceiling fan. Thanks to the dude who bought us a beer after winning big on the slot machine.

Plan to have fish here shortly. It's exactly what it should be. A great little pub. Tried the fish fry it was very very good especially the large portion. The breading was light and crisp there was enough for myself and my partner to both eat they're even kind enough to make a sandwich out of part of the order definitely would recommend going here

It's been here since 1922! Get your Irish on and Dive over to the Mill. Bangers are top notch and the fish is great. You want Irish whiskey; you go to the Mill.
