Oct 24: Stopped in for quick pint while passing. The service was good and although the pub was quiet when we were there I can imagine it would be bouncing when the football was on.

Very old style pub. The night we visited was Dec.31th. The pub has 4 standing table available 4 sitting tables for almost 150 people i guess. Yes several tables are reserved. Then The 150 guests were like silly standing there or sitting here the whole chatting time. Because there is no space for people to move. Unbelievable 150+ people squeezed in such small space ( 40sqm? Smaller than my living room) 1500 yen access ticket.. Said to have cake and drink. J didn't have any. The drink at the pub is charged additionally. Drink is not bad

Came here expecting to find all day breakfast, but was disappointed to hear they serve it until 10 a.m. Abroad in japan recommendations fell flat as we tried mozzarella sticks, shepherd's pie and fish and chips. Mozzarella sticks were covered in spring roll wrappings, not like on the menu photo. Ok, they would not have problems with the british dishes i thought and ordered shepherd's pie and fish and chips. Even the vinegar could not save the sorry looking chips. And paying 600 for a cup of ginger ale is absurd. Malin's fish and chips is a much better alternative.

If you want to catch a game, do you know hard it is to find a sports pub in Tokyo? I thought ESPN was worldwide.

I found Hobgoblin by looking up Buffalo Wild Wings. I came for a pint due to technical difficulties, but when they got everything working right, I drank a lot more. It was good catching a NCAAF game.

I even stayed for a Rugby match too.

Thank you for playing some college football.

Great pub. HOWEVER. Whoever is in charge of the shift patterns needs to wake up a bit. The poor guy who took the Euro final (by himself) was incredible. He put a monumental shift in. But the fact he was by himself was ridiculous. Anyone in their right mind knew that it would be rammed. Why was he on his own? We helped him and did a shift for about 4 hours (and watched england lose). It was a pleasure to work with him, but he shouldn't have been in that position.

Let's get straight to it, the fish and chips we ordered was nice and turned up quickly. The roasts we ordered were barely edible, they were incredibly salty and we forced ourselves to eat them. They also took an eternity to prepare, one of us had finished our meal way before the others started theirs. We liked the people working there, although they didn't seem very focused, very much like being back in the UK I suppose. We won't be returning though, the food was awful.
