Hawkeye Signs is a prime example of how a responsible, ethical business should act and operate! After a series of events, we had to close our storefront. The sign company who made and installed our large lighted building sign quoted us an outrageous amount to remove it from the building. I called Hawkeye Signs and Erik quoted me a very fair and reasonable amount. I didn’t explain the situation or tell them what happened with the other company. Hawkeye scheduled the removal and showed up as promised. Apparently upon removal of our sign, they accidentally knocked off an exterior building light and damaged it. The property manager has always proven to be extremely difficult to work with and has made every step painful. He used this as another opportunity to take advantage and informed me that he was going to charge me an outrageous price to replace the damaged light. I called Hawkeye signs and found out that the owner personally took the light back to the shop to repair it and then reinstalled it on the building. The property manager inspected and then told me that the repair was not enough and they would be deducting the outrageous amount out of my security deposit. I informed the owner of Hawkeye Signs and within one hour, the property manager emailed me saying that Hawkeye signs personally delivered a check to pay for the new light to the property managers office. The owner of Hawkeye signs knew that the property manager was taking advantage of the situation but also knew that my family needed the security deposit check and he took full responsibly without hesitation or discussion. From the first phone call, from beginning to end, Hawkeye took responsibility for the situation and put their customer’s needs first. I’m sure company ended up losing money on this job but never mentioned that. I hope somebody reads this review and gives Hawkeye signs the opportunity to show them the same level of service and professionalism they showed me. This is a stand up company and the owner, Tom is an inspiration.

We have always received a top shelf product on every sign that we have ordered from them. For Realtors, they make every effort to ensure that you get a high quality sign and they are knowledgeable about what sign type works in the area that you are marketing in.
We will continue to use them for all of our signage.

We had a gentleman come out and look at an old sign we need to replicate and replace and adjust measurements.
Due to our lack if knowledge in materials we did not understand the estimate given was for materials not like the previous sign.
We have 2 plastic laminate signs now that do not fit the measurements that were asked for. I feel partly to blame since we did accept the estimate but the salesman saw the old sign a d just quoted us a cheaper material based one that I am embarrassed to use.

The only offer of remedy was to cut the sign to the correct measurement. Still not happy this sign knowing it will not last as long as the one we wanted or should have been quoted for and we wanted money.

Verify the materials you are quoted for if you are unsure and get multiple quotes.

Edit: Changed to a 1 star. the plastic has flexed and torn in the Florida weather and hasn't held up. $300 signs are useless. Cheaper to pay for Google advertising at this point.
