We were originally scheduled to visit on a Friday, but were held up in transit due to the weather. I called and the staff made it very easy to reschedule.

We arrived for our rescheduled tour on Saturday and were greeted and welcomed immediately.

After a short wait, we embarked on an intimate tour of the grounds and operation with a very knowledgeable guide.

There’s a ton of history, as this is the 10th oldest distillery in Kentucky. The grounds and facilities were beautiful, and it was great to hear about the campus and how it had evolved over the decades.

At the end of the tour, we were treated to a tasting and a few small complimentary souvenirs.

We loved it the whole experience, and recommend it hands-down!

We really enjoy Green River bourbon and decided to take a day trip to go visit this distillery and take a tour. The staff was SO friendly! The cocktails before were fantastic. Grant was our tour guide and did an excellent job. We had both been on other bourbon tours before but he taught us things we had still never heard from anywhere else.

This place has such a rich history. The tastings at the end made me love this bourbon even more. We are so excited to tell all our friends about our experience. I would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our tour of Green River. The grounds are beautiful and the visitor center design really captures the esthetic of the founder and previous owners of the bourbon company. Our tour guide, Hannah, made the experience even better. After showing us how the bourbon is made start to finish we got to partake in a tasting of all the bourbons (and whiskey) that Green River offers. Honestly, it is some of the best bourbon I’ve tasted. Our party really enjoyed that add on part of the tour. You must come and visit the most western part of the Bourbon Trail! It’ll be a tour “without regrets”.

The Green River Distilling Company is a great place to tour. Nate was our tour guide and he knew so much about the property. He made the tour educational and entertaining. Definitely a must if you haven't.

We did an early morning tour Hannah, she was an absolute sweetheart! She was super informative and spent as much time as we wanted to on the tour. Going early in the morning we had a personal tour, which was an added bonus. It is definitely worth the drive over when doing the bourbon tours. Will definitely be returning on our next trip!

What a great time. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. They even gave us a last minute upgrade to our tour that includes barrel theiving. The tour guide was a great and he really catered the experience to our group’s personality. The facility is out of the way from much of the bourbon trail, but if you’re willing to add this stop (we came in from Missouri and stopped on the way to Louisville), you won’t regret it!

This the first place where you actually drive by a guard shack to get in. Surprisingly clean for an industrial setting. Then it turns into the distillery and tour we all want to see. The story of the rise and fall and rise again of the brand is one not to miss. The bourbon is very good and a reachable price point.
