We highly recommend Matthew and Cate to be your wedding videographer. We got married in October 2024 after a six-month engagement. We booked our venue, caterer, photographer, baker, etc within the first month. In June, we researched videographers in case we came across a videographer we liked. Cue Golden Coyote Productions. I read some favorable reviews and checked out the website. I made an inquiry and Matthew was prompt in his response and answering my questions. We decided to book for 5 hours of photography. The prices and packages were very reasonable so we immediately signed the contract.

During wedding week, Matt set up a phone call to establish the timeline and prioritize the shots. Additionally, we said that there they like to add some couple voice-overs for the final video. We are glad that he communicated that to us and what to expect.

As promised, Matthew and Cate showed up before the ceremony at my church to get footage of Prelude music. They were a warm, friendly and calming presence. Our ceremony was smooth and meaningful. Going into the reception at our rustic, elegant venue, we felt blissful and serene. It was a beautiful autumn day and we did not anticipate how instantly the vibe would change after our ride to the venue. Due to a catering mishap, the timeline of events for the reception got immensely skewed. It was a chaotic and stressful experience despite the smiles on our faces. Matt and Cate were so reassuring and supportive. They ensured that they got the voice-overs and the essential footage. At the conclusion of our wedding day, we were happy to be married but the disappointment of our reception did linger for a bit.

A few months later, we were so thrilled to see our videos. My husband was moved by the editing and attention to detail. He commented on how Matt and Cate are so passionate about their craft: “This is epic!” Seeing the videos and highlights felt very special and gave us a sense of emotional relief and joy. It was like an antidote to the lingering frustration from the reception faux paus. We were excited to share the videos with family and friends, especially those who could not attend. I asked Matt if he had the Prelude music. He released that video and I was so grateful to see my talented friends playing and singing our musical selections since we couldn’t hear them before the ceremony. In summary, we encourage you to hire Golden Coyote Productions for your wedding! Their storytelling through their films will capture your own love story and wedding day as unique and unforgettable!
