My over all experience was great. Based on the reviews I read I was a bit worried. I only waited about 15 minutes for my appointment and I was able to book it within very short notice. All the staff including the doctor were very friendly. There’s a great variety of frames to pick from with many different price ranges. I was able to get my exam, pick my frames and be out the door within 1 hour.

Janiella was wonderful. I had a very bad time There was a younger Dr there, who was extremely inconsiderate and his script was totally wrong. Jan send me to there other Dr and he was excellent. She followed through and they remade my glasses, which are now perfect.
If Jan had not followed through and cared I couldn’t recommend this place. I was going to write a complaint about the younger Dr, but I was informed he was leaving shortly.
Thanks to Jan I’m all fixed up and I would go back to the other Dr, he was great, only there part time.,

A year ago I had an eye exam. It didn't include a close up eye exam which I'm used to since I need bifocals. I asked the employee who quoted me for new glasses. He said they go by age and guess at the magnification. When he quoted $500 for just the lenses I left. In their defense I had the lenses quoted at walmart and the price was comparable. I didn't do anything for a year and thought I'd give Eyeglass world another try. My appointment was today at 9:30. I arrived at 9:15 and asked about the close up exam. There was 2 people waiting. Two more people came in. It was clear the doctor wasn't there yet. He arrived at 9:40 with 5 people waiting. He took his first appointment at 9:50. He's almost an hour behind. He walked back and forth in front of patients. No eye contact, no apology. I asked that my appointment be cancelled and walked out.

Extra charges as the doctor does not dilate and performs a different exam for $39 that we were not advised of up front! Second appointment I find out about it. Scheduled online no mention of this. Spoke to office to confirm $10 copay for my insurance a day ahead of appointment to confirm. I do not recommend at all. I will be returning to Lange Eye and Associates.

Summerfield Fl (Lady Lake) Picked up glasses one week ago. Tried them for a week but I had to tilt my head way back to read anything. To see signs while driving was a challenge. So I went back for them to correct on Friday Jan 17 2025. They aren’t cheap glasses. Transition and Progressive. I signed in and waited. A girl came up and asked why I was there I told her. She told me to sit at the front counter bcz the guy there will take care of me. He was helping someone else and when he finished he turned to do something with a pile of glasses. I told him the girl told me to sit here that he would take care of me. He retorted “well I haven’t spoken to her” turned his back to me and went about what he was doing. Meanwhile there is a line forming. I asked him do you need to speak to her to help customers. He said “I am working over here so leave me alone”. I got up and said fine I will leave you & the store alone - refund me my glasses and tell me who the manager is. He said he was the manager and that he never told me to leave him alone. I told him there is nothing wrong with my hearing just my glasses.He clearly told me to leave him alone. He proceeded very loudly to ask all the customers if they heard him say that - a few said they did. He then helped me as he was helping he was extremely condescending and rude. He had to reorder the glasses and didn’t give me any paperwork to sign or proof he ordered a new pair. I am now dealing with Corporate on this issue. If I don’t get my glasses then I will dispute the charge on my cc. This place is a joke. Rude and shouldn’t be dealing with the public . BTW he is the manager which brings to question why would he need to speak to his employer to help a customer and if he treats customers this way as a manager what is he teaching his staff!

I didn’t have a problem with the glasses I bought. I had a problem with waiting 30 minutes to pick them up. Four people were working but only two were taking care of customers. They were busy but wouldn’t put their work aside to take care of all the people who were there waiting. I was an optician and I knew that the work they were doing is to be done after you take care of your patients. Nope I will not ever go back. They don’t get customer service at all.

This place is dishonest, unprofessional and whatever Doc is in there now is a flake. I Set up
Appt before the end of the year. Receive a call that if I couldn’t get in an hour earlier I would have to reschedule because the Doc was leaving. This apparently has happened before. I’m a nurse who takes care of people MANY times late or on the weekend and I wouldn’t just cancel on someone. The year before they had traveling MD see me on my initial visit and when I went back a second MD saw me and said he disagreed with my script and changed it. Something was always just slightly off, but I blew it off. Never experienced anything like this in 50 years of wearing glasses.

I will definitely let others know to stay away from this business

I worked with Sandy and Fabrice Pierre at the Lady Lake, Florida location. Sandy help me to find the perfect frames, and Fabrice was very patient in getting the perfect fit of my new sunglasses. I highly recommend this eyeglass store.
