I practiced for 5 years after graduation and decided to open my own dental practice. Before I started to work with Sharon and Wendy, opening my own practice was an impossible task.

I am pleased to say I opened my startup practice in November 2022 with patients in my schedule on the first day. Cutting Edge Practice helped me from the start to the finish. Every week from the beginning when we were searching for a location up to the opening of the practice and thereafter, their advice and coaching was invaluable. I posed questions of all kinds to Sharon in person, via phone, emails, texts on weekdays and weekends. She was professional, patient, knowledgeable, supportive and responsive every time.

Sharon helped me find the very best location for my practice. It is in a very nice neighborhood, close to my home and right next to a Jewel-Osco. Sharon helped me to negotiate a favorable lease term from the landlord with free rent and a TI allowance.

Wendy helped me find a good bank loan. She also helped me create a business plan with a variety of financial documents and projections so I could secure a good loan rate.

Before the construction started, I had no knowledge of what the construction process was. Sharon clearly explained each step of the construction. After the construction started, Sharon drove 2 hours from her home to my practice construction site every week to help me monitor the construction progress and help me in every way including problem solving and supporting me with each of the vendors. I remember one time at a critical point in the construction, I had to out of town to attend an education course. Sharon came to the construction site multiple times during that week and sent me updates and photos while I was out of town. In another instance, I was having problems getting my utilities turned on, Sharon went with me to the City to present our situation and got the problem remedied. I am not sure my practice would have opened without her support and guidance.

Sharon also taught me how to create effective dental marketing and helped me create various marketing materials. She also helped me understand how to run a dental practice and helped me select and train my dental staff.

I am very glad that I worked with Cutting Edge Practice and I would hire them again. I have recommended them to my colleagues.

I was very nervous about starting up my own practice, and I couldn't do it without Sharon's help. Sharon helped me from planning and site selection and still helping me after opening of the practice with marketing and staff training. Sharon has much experience with starting up a practice in every step of the process. She checked every details of the construction process, designing logos, setting up custom designed website, Facebook pages, Google pages. She did everything she promised to do at the beginning and she did more. I was very limited with my time available for the project and working with her saved much time.

Building a dental clinic from scratch isn't for the faint of heart and I could not see myself doing so without their help! Sharon and Wendy are always available to answer your questions and are willing to meet every week (sometimes more depending on the needs of the practice). Sharon set me up with a wonderful location, introduced me to all her connections, and helped train the team. Wendy helped with projections for 3 years of practice and also helped train the team with verbal skills (after driving around for over 3 months looking for an acquisition). They do not pressure you in making decisions and will go to bat for you and can be trusted to look out for your interests. 3.5 months post-opening and Sharon still answers all my calls and emails!
