As I write this review, I have visited many Costcos around the nation, as a member, and as a Brand Ambassador for Honey Smoked Fish Company, selling 'Slammin' Salmon!

In addition to confirming that I sold out of all products, marking the first time in company history, I must acknowledge the cooperation and joyfulness of both the Costco team and the CDS team.

As they worked feverishly before doors opened, moving pallets, preparing registers, cleaning, readying carts, and poising in preparation for members to arrive, everyone was friendly to each other, playing their favorite genre of music on mini speakers, and they were nearly 'whistling while they worked.  I was welcomed and accommodated well.

Then, members arrived.  They were anxious to get in.  The energy level was elevated, as members were kind and engaged in camaraderie among themselves and with the employees.  Costco's operations and merchandising crew were on point.  The managers responded effectively to every call and kept traffic moving.  All products were well merchandised, and CDS offered a variety of delicious samples.

My three-day experience at Costco, warehouse #13, was reminiscent of a 'Love Fest'.

The energy and collaboration in the Silverdale, Washington Costco warehouse were instrumental to my selling out of product.

This is a top-flight warehouse location because of the good vibes of the employees and members.  5 ☆ ~ Kevin

To be succint. I did nothing to instigate anything. Yet this man in the photo stared at me long enough (2-3min) I felt uncomfortable enough to take a picture of him before he hissed not to take pictures and prompted everyone in the group behind me to think i'm taking pictures of kids or their wives and immediately anger flashes over their faces and they are angry and demanding to see my photos, delete as well, some people hear something and immediately respond with violence....

This man is a Costco employee Loss Prevention the store manager confirmed and initiated uh situation, the store manager claimed he was trying to monitor someone while remaining discreet without raising attention...

I called after I had spoke to the manager in store, the phone call this woman laughed to my face over the phone. I mean, she laughed out loud, and apologized before she started laughing again and oh, i'm sorry, i'm sorry.

It was mocking, it was derisive, it was belittling and she seemed to be enjoying it when I was raising a very valid point in (which not every detail can be conveyed through this review)

I was at a loss for words. Such unprofessionalism, such nasty, it personally treating other people when you are representing Costco.

It's not so funny now that his picture is on.Is there google review or how serious i'm taking this up, the chain that they do not understand i have posted this to get corporate to actually respond.

The manager of the store did confirm to my complete surprise he was her own loss prevention and everything he did was supported by the store employee and this situation sounds there's more to it.No, he was just staring intently at me to make and this situation sounded there was more to it and just seeing things that aren't there, "I don't understand it from their perspective and that's why I can't make sense of it" is how she put it.

She, uh, also disclosed. She has been with that store for thirty one years, and I um suggested that maybe it's time she'd do something else with her time.

was walking in to get my shopping cart, while i was doing so my 12 year old son walked in before me. i was walking to come get him and the most glorified scanner lady who had a smokers voice, told my son as a “joke” he could get in without a card if he “sucked this kitty”. not sure what that meant Dawn but that was not acceptable at your big age.

Shopped at 4:40 PM on 6/18, used self checkout, and was treated very rudely by the woman working there. I’m not sure why she was giving me so much attitude, I had a simple and unemotional negative response to a policy and adhered to the policy anyways, and after I had paid and was leaving she decided to give me some very condescending and blatantly rude remarks. Again, I was already leaving, she didn’t need to say anything. She went out of her way to be rude, which as someone who has worked in retail for over a decade, most of which has been grocery, I found very disturbing. This is the only time I’ve been treated rudely at this Costco. Everyone else has been so kind and respectful, but this lady picked on a customer who spends hundreds of dollars a month at this location.

Picking up glasses. The lady who helped me (I'm embarrassed to say I can't remember her name but she was a licensed optician) was great! She did more to make sure my glasses fit properly than anyone else had in the 30 years I've been wearing glasses.

The Silverdale bakery has had some wonderful specialties that I would like to see return , even if it’s seasonal! The deep dish 9 inch Chicago style pizza was right on! What a bargain, too, for $10! Great sausage and crust! The almond croissants were as authentic as from a French bakery! I am sorry to hear that they are discontinued now! They were a family favorite as well as the famous carrot cake!

The best wholesale membership store, period! Only drawback, store is often crowded and you have to buy in bulk. The $50 annual membership is covered quickly with the savings that are offered. A good grocery, hardline, and soft line selection are offered. Sample stations throughout the store to highlight promotions. Enjoy the variety of meats, deli, and alcohol selections. The food court can sometimes get dirty with a lack of upkeep, but they do have spray bottles available to clean the area before you eat.

I’d give this higher cause I mean Costco is awesome. Only putting down 3 instead of 5 as they changed how getting from their food court works. Stand in line to order, stand in another line that’s 50 ppl deep to take your receipt to the counter to wait in yet another line for your food. Completely pointless causing even more of a traffic jam trying to get out of the building even. Good job Costco. This new method didn’t change nor make it effective only pissing people off with higher wait times. Not to mention having an employee running around yelling on repeat on how it’s suppose to work….. again great job on wasting everyone’s time and pissing off your customers

We called ahead about a playground set and were told the floor model was available. After hauling a 16 foot flat bed out to the store (not our local Costco), we were told we’d have to come back Monday morning. When we pushed back, it seemed to cause a lot of confusion between the numerous managers and supervisors, and then suddenly we were informed that someone else might have already “reserved” it. However, no payment was made and no one mentioned this earlier.

Management (Shane and John) didn’t offer a real solution, just admitted it was bad customer service and offered a gas card. No one seemed to know or apply the store’s policy about holds or have any contact information for this mystery person. All in all it was a disaster, enough to ensure that we won't ever shop here again.

If you're picking something up here, get names, times you talked to the person, and confirm their policies. Just because it’s in inventory doesn’t mean it’s actually available. This probably could have been solved by going to the Costco website (where it's in stock) offering us the item at the store price (or for a discount) and having it sent to our local Costco. Very frustrating experience.

We went to Costco today so my 94 year old grandmother could order a dishwasher for delivery. I explained to her we could easily order it online from home, but she insisted we go into the store and I listen to Grandma! We arrived around 10 AM, and a gentleman named John helped her place the order online. He was incredibly patient and provided exceptional customer service!

I could not get in this morning at 9:30 because I only had a business membership. The lady at the door was rude and sent me away. I am a 76 year old woman who has had an executive card since the early 90’s. Guess I changed my
membership after my husband died a couple years ago. She could have explained this for the future and let me in today. I was already parked and there. Oh well, I will try again when I get over there rude treatment.
