By the time I got to Clarity Web Studio, I was on my second website for the same business. I have owned a fitness and wellness center in West Oakland for 6 years.To say I was naïve about the tech world when I started my business would be an understatement.
The first web designer set everything up without asking me a single question and walked away. I wasn’t happy with the design, and the copy wasn’t anywhere near correct to describing my services, but I had a website. Ok. The next website I had was set up by a friend of mine, (beggars can’t be choosers) I did not feel comfortable asking about changes or adjustments. Every time I did, they seemed annoyed, it took forever to change things, the text was never exactly what I had given him.
For most of us, lay people to the world of tech, and web design, technology is so far from what we do in our everyday life, we have no ideas about the world we are about to enter, SEO, keywords, domains, sub domains there is so much misinformation on web design and it’s hard for us who don’t know technology, to decipher what is authentic in the industry and what is not. I know a “Web Designer” who told a client of mine who now uses Clarity Web Studio that SEO fake, it doesn’t work and it’s all BS. That client went with Clarity and is now getting so much traffic through his website that he can’t keep up with all the business he now has. Turns out that web designer that told him this is really a “graphic designer, and that is their specialty in web design and they actually don’t really know how to do SEO.
To say I was looking for Clarity when I met Linda was an understatement. My website at that time, had the incorrect schedule for over a year, I mentioned to my other web designer , and it seemed like I was only creating more problems for him, Frustrated, at my wits end, and feeling vulnerable for not knowing enough to solve my problem, this is when I met Linda Phillips Blue.
I met Linda in a Business networking group, it had been over a year since I had a working functional website.
From the moment she took over I immediately could feel my stress levels dropping. I had no idea what professional was in terms of web design before I worked with Linda. She immediately put a place holder announcing of the up in coming web site, with a correct schedule and contact info. This was already an upgrade,
She started off, by asking me questions, the initial session Linda wanted to know all about my business, who my clients were, how I worked , what services and packages offered, she came in and did a few personal training and Tui Na sessions with me to fully understand how I work. I wasn’t used to it, it was almost a little off putting, I could not believe she spent that much time getting got know me and my business, I had never had a person in tech make me feel that important, or work acknowledge and find the special things about my business that made it different from the competition.
Linda is my “Tech Fairy Godmother”, she has gone to bat for me many times, like a digital bouncer safe guarding my products: most recently, when working with social media marketing/consulting groups, educating me on the industry and things to look out for like making sure I own all my subdomains. She took the time to educate me about web design, the difference between having a working, functional website the draws in traffic and a digital billboard.
Linda works for you, She took all of the content I gave her, paired herself with an excellent graphic designer, and built a beautiful easily navigable, highly functioning website, that draws traffic to it via her work on the back end with the SEO.
Previous websites, I received little to no calls or emails, now I get consist emails from serious leads regularly, and most of the leads I get through the website I convert into customers.
I can’t speak enough about the experience, service and the product I received from Linda Philips Blue.
