I was able to get a table quickly, but the service was slow beyond that. It took a while for the food to come out and the waitress only appeared a couple of times. No refills as she didn't come back, but that's OK. The prices were OK. They were high $$$ on certain items. The quality of the food wasn't bad, but it was a little bland. The atmosphere was nice. It's a bar with a modern look to it. They were also great at accommodating a seafood allergy.

Went for the original Mexican Martini, invented here in the 1980s, which was delicious. Stayed for the great happy hour deals, Monday-Thursday 4-6.
The martini was great, as was the brisket quesadilla, and the staff.
It's located a couple blocks from the convention center and downtown metro station.

The food was great! We had Shishitos, which included one that was super spicy, we teased that it was probably a serrano pepper. The Brussel sprouts were yummy and sweet with a kick. The shrimp pasta was super creamy and tasty. The chicken fried steak was hearty with the mashed potatoes and greens. The burgers and brisket sandwich were full of flavor. I loved their fries. Our waitress was super friendly.

I loved my visit and everyone was nice and quick. The only issue is my Grey Goose Cosmo was $27, almost as expensive as my meal and a margarita. Full disclosure, I asked for a little more Grand Marnier, but $27?

The food was bad. I came with a party of 5 and we had to send 2 plates back. The meat in the pork belly tacos was very tough to chew. I ordered my burger medium rare and it came out well done and not even warm. There was hair fried onto one of the wings that we ordered. Idk how much more hair there was because she was just eating them and not looking first.

Our server was understanding and took back the tacos and wings so we didn't end up paying for them. The location is nice and it's got nice decor.

The food is the biggest downside here.

I went to the patio. The area is nice with tables and or picnic benches with the umbrella. I ordered this crispy sweet chili brussel sprouts. That was amazing. Also I ordered a strawberry limeade drink. I don't feel like it was mixed properly and give me a tangy tart feeling as I glup it down.

Side note: get their fries and thank me later!

Nice outside space to sit and eat, limited menu but it covered all the bases. Our server disappeared at some point, but everyone was friendly. The tacos are bland without the hot sauce and the fries were hit or miss. But overall, it was a decent restaurant if you’re looking for something simple.
