Such a beloved place for myself and my children from storytime with Donna the children’s librarian to free lunch and movies and afternoons in the garden. We truly love coming here.

They renovated this place and it's much more clean and welcoming. Has some nice selection of books for children.
Overall I would say it's a good nice spot for a library and pretty accessible.

The Library has been closed for renovations I assume for over a year to my knowledge probably more. I give it 3 stars because I know when it was open it was a great place for books as are all of NYC public libraries. It has been reopened. since summer 2024, I have added another star.

It is a beautiful old building and you can watch the J train riding the elevated tracks while you are in the reading room. Lots of sunlight through all the windows make reading there pleasant.

Saratoga BPL has reopened!! Visit this light filled space-adult&child friendly. Steps from Halsey J and B26&Q24 bus stops. Closed on Sundays. And a very friendly and helpful staff. Submitted for your approval 😊

Nice place, staff is nice, made some changes since last year on how the security guard acted. Updated computers, even activities to do on specific days! The laptops are also touch screen which is a plus. If you look on their images on their site branch you would be amazed at how much they changed from 2000 brick monitors and computers to 2014 - 15 computers. I even made a friend with a staff. But the computers are slow some times. BUT free wifi!

Across the street. Very happy with the renodel. Friendly staff. Great atmosphere especially when there are kids in the play area. It's controlled chaos but such great energy.
