What an amazing place. I took my 13 year old daughter for her birthday. The kids had an amazing time. The couple that owns this place is just amazing. I would definitely go back again. So reasonably priced and definitely worth it.

I recently took my mom to Board & Brush for her birthday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment we walked in, the owner greeted us with warmth and friendliness that instantly made us feel welcome. Her energy and enthusiasm made the evening so much fun, and it’s clear she truly loves what she does.

The workshop itself was fantastic — everything was well-organized, and the instructions were easy to follow, even for first-timers like us. The owner was incredibly patient and helpful, making sure everyone felt confident and left with a beautiful piece of art. My mom and I had such a great time, and it was the perfect way to celebrate her special day.

It’s such a hidden gem in the area, and I truly hope more people discover this wonderful place. Whether you're celebrating an occasion or just looking for a fun night out, I can’t recommend Board & Brush enough. We’ll definitely be back for another project soon!

Laura and Don are the business owners. Along with their skateboard riding French Bulldog Alice (who actually runs the place), they provide a warm and welcoming environment at Board and Brush in Chico. They were very patient in teaching a large group on how to complete their own beautifully stenciled, wood painted design. It was a great afternoon. We so much appreciate their woodworking skills and hospitality. Thank you!

Came to the Board and Brush Creative Studio through a work team function and had an amazing time. Laura and her husband were fantastic! The atmosphere was light and fun and they guide you the whole way through your particular build. We all had a great time and I can't wait to come back and build another project! Thank you!

Laura and Don are fantastic! Had such a great time at their class. So helpful, so many design and color options, the possibilities are endless. I don't consider myself artistic or crafty, they provide great assistance so you leave with a beautiful project. 10/10 recommend for your next girls night, date night, work gathering or solo adventure.
