Fyi. I called the Astound main phone number twice. I didn't deal with Stayton Astound!! I have had awesome service with them. I've been a customer for 7 years. My bill has went from a total of $30 a month to what was said $60 +$30 +taxes ect $100.
I ask about the $30 a month for a loyal customer. She said no I rather lose your business. I can't sign you up for anything right now. After you cancel services. You can sign back up afterv60days as a new customer and get specials.
I lost my job and was needing my internet to finish last years taxes and job searching.
I wouldn't recommend. New customer then dump them after the special. It keeps going up! Mine went up $70 a month. That's insane . I don't usually complain but at this time that's unfortunate and unsustainable.
If I could have given a zero Stars for service I would. Very disappointing!

Phone tree needs work, the Customer Service lady in Stayton excellent. I've visited her when my bill went up and she is informative on getting the best value for my money. The rest of the company is ok. I don't like when you call and select technical support, they reset your system no matter what. I've learned to select billing to avoid a system reset.

Install technician Cameron did a fantastic job. He was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I’m new to Portland and no better way to start it off with fast Internet and quality customer service. Thank you, Cameron .

Worst internet and customer service I have ever seen! If there is ANY other options in your area I highly suggest you chose that. There is constant “service interruptions” and even when there’s not the service is far from up to par. And don’t even think about calling with concerns. You will be met with disrespect and consistent attitude as if your call is an inconvenience. You are never compensated for any problems. This company is a money grab. They have zero care for anything else.

The overall service was absolutely great! The only complaint I have is, it is OUTRAGEOUS TO CHARGE $79 to install a phone or any other equipment. Our phone install took not even 20 minutes so paying $79 for that is Ludacris!

Didn't have Internet for a month and a half. they came out 3 times to fix the issue, didn't prorate. Bill was supposed to be 67 for internet and they were charging me 127 every month. Was supposed to be no cancellation fees, cancelled within a week of new billing cycle and they're charging me 127 again when I was told it'd be prorated also can't ever seem to get a hold of anyone anymore. Never Again.

I've been with this company through at least 3 different name changes. All by virtue of the only broadband option available. And although it's nice to be able to call, after navigating the ridiculous automation. You get to speak to someone stateside. That's the positive. The old joke that the price of something changes like my cable bill? That's the truth. I don't get statements mailed as I went paperless. I don't get even an email statement until my bill changes and I owe something I didn't know I owe. Were supposed to get another option out my way this next spring. I'll give them a shot. When Astound works? It's good. That's what I pay for. When it doesn't? Well, here I am writing this without service.
