We were in Duluth for a on 8/31 for quick day trip and had an issue with our vehicle’s brakes that could have derailed the entire day (3 hours from home…). We happened to stop into this Auto Zone because it was the closest parts store. They went above and beyond to make sure we had the parts we needed and the tools my husband needed to fix the truck and get us back on the road. The two employees (we did not get their names :unfortunately) were helpful, patient, and kind in a moment of panic for us. They dealt with exchanges for the RIGHT parts when we guessed wrong and were able to loan us tools to fix. This was a great experience and turned a stressful 45 minutes into a better time.

John P. Was so helpful when I came in with a battery issue. He was knowledgeable about his work and diagnosed/fixed the problem in a heartbeat. He was also very friendly and kind!

Came in one evening looking for a new hitch pin and some d-ring shackles. The guy working wasn't very interested in helping me. He just walked around, behind me, loudly yawning. I get days get long, but that's rude.

I asked about trying the hitch pin out quick after I purchase it. He just ignored me.

I then asked if they carried shackles. He just looked at me and said "HUH?". I repeated shackles, d ring shackles. He didn't know what they were so I didn't bother.

I seemed to be more of an inconvenience coming into the store that day. First and last time I go here.

We are from out of town, but were greeted with open arms, great advice, and supreme customer focus to help us fix the fuel filter on our diesel truck. Kudos to Wayne and Jonathan!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for saving us!!!!!!

Asked for a battery and help with purchasing one. And the older worker didn’t even acknowledge I was in there. Instead he proceeded by saying “on such a cold day you’re going to have me check your battery?” while he was shaking his head. My battery then died so my car was stranded at the store. They didn’t care, didn’t help , didn’t do anything. By far the worst customer service I’ve ever seen regarding an auto shop. I’ll never be back

Part stores tend to get a bad rap, and a lot of times I can see it, but this one tends to employee some pretty knowledgable folks. They've come through for me in many ways, once even they drove a battery out to me when I was stranded down by the Coppertop Church.

Every now and then they don't carry something I need and I'm forced to go to a conpetitor, but I never want to.

Was great, until management switched. Was told last week I can't do a return unless the store manager is there. Went to Superior and finished my return. It's important to note, I am a former employee of this location who was trained by Marty. 3 years of service while we hit $1m in commercial sales in 2021/2022. New DM killed business, people left, and I was the last one standing. New management caused me such stress I ended up on medical leave with symptoms of a stroke. It's only gone downhill from there.
