Captain Andrew and his deckhand Danny hosted my dad and I for a wonderful excursion on a commercial salmon troller. My goal was to learn more about commercial fishing for my grad school research. After obtaining short-term commercial deckhand licenses, we got to spend the entire day fishing with them on Sitka Sound during their actual day's work. We learned so much about commercial salmon trolling, as Andrew and Danny generously answered all of our questions and allowed us to observe the ins and outs of commercial trolling. Andrew was also very helpful and communicative in setting up a personalized experience that catered to our interests. It gave us a rare glimpse inside the life of Alaska fishermen. I can't say enough good things about our adventure.

We went out with captain Andy on an overnight stay. We saw wildlife and we had a good time on the boat. A great way to get a feel for commercial salmon fishing in the beautiful surroundings of Sitka sound.

Absolutely amazing experience! The boat was gorgeous, and the Captain was super friendly and helpful. Andrew took us on a very special day trip, helped organize everything, responded to tons of my emails, and chose the best weather! We will definitely go on another adventure with Andrew and Karmon Dee for sure. Highly recommend!
