Matterhorn Village is situated across the street from the Tramway, which makes for an easy stop for a few hours between the two attractions. Within the Village, you'll find a gift shop, ice cream, candy shop, and a minigolf course. The minigolf is affordable ($10, I think) and very well maintained. The course is themed to the woodland creatures that live in the area. They make the most our of the holes they have and a lot of the holes have a particular path you have to take to set you up best. I thought this was a great minigolf course if you are a fan. There are three minigolf courses in total on this end of Wallowa Lake. This is by far the best maintained and family friendly one. I will say though, Eagle Cap Chalets was my favorite because of how old school and unique it was. If you are a big minigolf fan, I'd pair these two together for a fun couple hours. I think most people would prefer this course, however, but both are lots of fun. The other attractions in the Village didn't impress me that much, but those are not the main draw anyway.

Linda was so very helpful! I love my earing sets and (refrigerator) magnet. The shop was well stocked, neat, clean, and tidy! We have been shopping here for many years each time we come up to the lake!

Loved coming here as a kid many years ago, was so happy and come back and my kids loved it! The mini golf course was amazing! The ice cream place was very great! Got my girls two strawberry ice cream cones and they were so good and sweet! Got two Italian sodas (peach and raspberry) mixed with the cream and whipped cream and it was amazing! The cute little gift shop as well was very amazing and had all sorts of stuff and antiques! Can’t wait to do it again when we come back whenever!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? If you have kids (or even if you don't), you will find yourself here for ice cream and mini golf at least one night of your Wallowa Lake visit. Always a highlight of the trip for us. The teens running it do pretty well, considering its a high-volume, repetitive service gig.
Always clean and well-maintained. Just a fun spot that's a must if you are here!

This mini-golf experience was one of the best we've visited. Newly redone, the course offered plenty of shade, resident deer and beautiful landscaping. Prices are reasonable and there's ice cream on site afterwards. The staff are teenagers and lack enthusiasm, but remained friendly and efficient.

Mini-golf is a favorite family activity. This is a well thought-out, inventive, well shaded course. Loved that they dished areas around the holes to make close shots hole outs. Good fun for all ages with ready food options and a fun gift shop nearby.

We enjoyed our time at this mini golf place while staying in a vacation rental right across. It was so inviting from the moment we saw it. They've really made it cute all around and the course is fun too. They also had ice cream and other snacks to buy and a small gift shop. Nice addition to the town of Joseph.

The mini golf is great, five stars for it alone! The gift shop is nice, mostly reasonably priced. But the coffee place is terrible, they don't do specialty blended coffees so no sugar free plus the kids that work there are impolite and they don't offer kids sized ice cream.
