This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with fantastic food, top-notch service, and a charming old-time atmosphere. And let me tell you, the ales here are bursting with flavor! Plus, they have a great selection of gluten-friendly options for all you foodies out there.

I've been lucky enough to visit this place a few times, and each visit has been nothing short of fantastic. The service is always on point, and the food is absolutely delicious. On my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting up with a friend who's about to embark on an incredible journey abroad. We sat at the bar, enjoying each other's company for hours. And let me tell you, the views from this place are out of this world! I even managed to capture a stunning double rainbow 🌈. Talk about a picture-perfect moment!

Came in on Valentine's Day with a friend and ordered a Strawberry Salad off of their Valentine's Menu as well as a cup of the soup of the day which was Clam Chowder. Both were absolutely delicious. After finishing the salad, I had realized I didn't have a physical debit card on hand but luckily they do tap to pay which was super helpful so I didn't have to transfer money to my friends card. Service was quick and friendly.

Simply the best beer & amazing food brought by awesome food service professionals! This place is amazing, I am willing to bet there’s not one bad item on this menu. Pilsner is clean, herb backed and refreshing. Gold Digger IPA is a master class in how it should be done. Cauliflower wings as appetizers, Braised short rib and mushroom Alfredo, Mac & Cheese and an amazing burger made to order. Lovely place to wile away the rainy gold country afternoon. Destination eats!

Ale House is no joke. Great food options and great beer options as well.. and for the Non alcoholic types? A few options as well. Service is great, and the atmosphere is very likable.

A go to spot to stop for lunch on the way to Tahoe from Bay Area. They have a dog friendly patio, so Fido can come too.

Tasty on site brewed beer and great food. I’d recommend the French dip. Full bar with some interesting mix drink specials

We stopped here on our way home from Tahoe after being stuck in traffic so we were hungry and grumpy. Restaurant was busy even late on a Sunday but accommodated us cheerfully and gracefully. Service was good, especially considering how busy it was. Food was good, hot, prompt; beer was good. We left much happier than when we arrived.

Our party of 8 loved everything we ordered! The highlights included the pretzel, "my Friday hazy IPA", And the brewer's dip. The food was fast and the service was excellent! I also thought my Shanghai Thai salad was filling and tasty. 🤌
