We visited the arts center for a maker's market and enjoyed looking around the grounds as well. There is a wall honoring war veterans, and a statue commemorating a quilting trail.

This is a great place to visit if you like art or if you want to support local artists. Each month they have an artist of the month that is a local person and they put the art from that artist in the hallway. Some of the pieces are often for sale. It doesn't cost anything to go in so you can browse as little or as much as you want. The artist's' one room studios also line the hallway so if they are there you can actually talk to the artists themselves. The upstairs has a performance auditorium where the Morehead theater Guild often has plays.

This place has so much to offer. There are spaces for local artists to use as their studio, the local theatre guild puts on their plays in the theatre which was the original courtroom, and even yoga classes are held here. So glad to have this establishment in our time.

Amazing artwork displayed monthly. Currently showing "The Savannah Sipping Society" the cast and crew are spectacular and it's a touching story. Can't wait to visit again.
