Promoters will take your ID, the manager will not request camera footage to see what happened even though the last time the ID was seen was in the employee’s hand. Then was questioned why a black man would steal a white woman’s ID, as if I ever accused the employee of theft. I just wanted to see where the passport went. Zero help. Had to have another bar tell me who the manager was.

They have a sign out front that says "$5 Margaritas." We were charged $7 and didn't realize until after we'd paid. Bartender told us to pound sand. Had to ask three separate people for them to finally fix it, which they did with an attitude while calling us "aggressive" (we were incredibly polite). Will not be returning.

Overcharged for mediocre cocktails. I’m more upset with myself for actually paying tab and falling for the shady move by the bartendress of adding a 5% and 4% to my tequila/soda and my girlfriends vodka/soda rounding out to $40 bucks for just 2 drinks. I’ve paid less for the same cocktails at much finer establishments. This is a dive bar. They have no business marking up poorly mixed drinks.

Stevie did not thoroughly check my character And (assumed i was drunk as i am writing this) I online needed to use the bathroom and a manger Stevio had to be called whom did not want me in the room. Smh

Edit: beyond this being an embarrassment, this lost the club money. We went to every other bar and they let us in.

“Steven” told us we were “too drunk” to enter the bar when he could barley stand. Cade later talked to us and told us this was not true and his manager was mistaken. Later “Steven” told us he admitted he was wrong.

Charged LITERALLY $97 for 2 drinks. Am I crazy or is that INSANE. They definitely like to take advantage. Don't go here.

Thirstys is a dope spot to hang! Especially watching bears games. Their owner Kevin and the staff are top notch. Would recommend 100% coming through to check out this Austin gem.
