This was my first time visiting an APL location, and I was extremely impressed by the Carver Branch's staff and programming. Bill was incredibly helpful and told me about all of their upcoming events. I really appreciate the community this branch is cultivating and will definitely be back for their "Bad Film Festival".

This is my first visit here but it's a great place to study (on a Saturday morning). It's very tranquil (as one would expect of a library) yet there's enough white noise to keep you focused. The librarians are very friendly (also as expected). The lighting is on the dimmer side but there's a lot of art and color which makes the atmosphere feel really uplifting.

My daughter and I really love this library! The librarians are always so friendly and helpful. She loves the crafts that are available, this week she had a great time with the seed project and is dedicatedly tracking the growth of her plant.

Great library, staff and great selection of books. We love the kids section and the supervised computer room for kids. The self checkout for your books is awesome and a quick way to checkout or renew your books. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and courteous. My kids and I stay a good distance from the carver library but it's well worth the drive. You should check out !😊

I came by here earlier this week a bit before 8PM (7:57 to be exact) to find the doors to this library already closed. The lights were dimmed and I saw 2 staff members inside. I knocked on the door/window, and they walked away. They may have even been out the door at 7:59PM. I don't know if it's for safety reasons or what, but I've never been to a library branch in Austin that closed before the posted hours. I'm sure it's frustrating to have people come in near closing time, but it seems really unprofessional and was obviously disappointing for someone who needed to run in quickly to grab a hold or something like that. Very bizarre.

Love the Carver branch --always interesting displays to look at (and an awesome quilt hanging past the computers, near the fiction section). I think they have a great book collection, esp for the smaller space available for them. (And what they don't have, only takes a day or two to request from another branch!) Staff nice & helpful. Plenty of parking available.
