The internet service is extremely poor, the latency is consistently over 500 directly to the modem. Tried multiple modems and resets it's just crap service!

I’m not sure what we’re paying for. I had better dial up in 1998. The service is unreliable at best. It’s 2023, you should be ashamed of your product. This is undoubtedly the result of no competition, so no reason to provide what you advertise or what we pay you for. I’d leave zero stars if I could, because that’s the amount of Internet you give regularly.

Edit: I see some five star reviews. I know a middle to upper management review when I see one. By the way, had to use cellular service to even post this.

The internet messed up last year, so I went to Kinetic. I kept the cable and then all of a sudden it wouldn't work unless you had a smart TV or a converter box. I asked when it would be fixed and they said probably never. They wanted $5 a month for each box over one. I bought 3 more smart tvs. Then the picture and sound did not match, so I went to streaming after being a customer for around 30 years.

This company has came a long way in the past three or four years since the employee changeover. There was a lot of major headaches in the beginning of their changeover, but for the most part they have got most things running smoothly. Apart from the occasional outage maybe once a month I don't really really have any issues in the Conley Bottom area. Seems like a lot of people leaving one star reviews may have had just a bad experience and or spoke to the wrong people. Everyone I know seems to not have any issues with their service.

Internet is decent maybe half of the time. Frequent drops, and if it turns off Friday after 12:00pm then you can bet you won’t have internet all weekend. It’s frequent drops cost me several letter grades in college, it also makes it impossible to stay at home and do online classes. They may be nice people, but who would know, they’re never in office to answer the phone.
Sad that the only choice of internet is Windstream and this... on one end you have bad internet but can always call for help, on this end you have OK internet but frequently drops and nobody is available to help.

Moved to Monticello this week and set the internet up a few days beforehand. About 2 hours in the new house and internet stopped working. It’s now been 2 days. Will be returning router and cancelling service.

I rely on good internet service for my online business . I review products in blog form and livestream formats . The upload speeds are bad more often than they are good and I mean really bad . Over the course of the last 2 weeks we have been averaging below 1 MBPS of upload speed . We are paying for 6 . Rarely do we ever get anywhere near 6 . This makes livestreaming nearly impossible and uploading a short 10 - 15 minute video can take 10 - 12 hours .
I have lived in many different areas in this country , but this by far the worst service I have ever experienced. No matter how many times you go to their office and show them speed test after speed test of terriblely pour performance, nothing seems to ever improve. We really need another company to move into the area that actually cares about providing a good product for their customers.

What a joke. I pay for mid-grade, always early or on time, and work from home. I’m not exaggerating when I say it cuts in and out MULTIPLE TIMES EVERY SINGLE DAY for MONTHS. I’ve called and called, begged for someone to do something, nobody cares. They told me that since I live in an apartment complex, they couldn’t drill…when I explained to them that per my apartment manager herself, the hole is ALREADY DRILLED. They don’t have to do anything at all but run a direct line. I was told to hook up my laptop to an Ethernet cord..that was their solution. Even though there’s no internet at all on any device when it cuts out, an Ethernet cord is going to solve it. The incompetence is almost hilarious if it weren’t for the fact that I’m paying for terrible service and it’s affecting my job. This is a poor excuse for an internet company. Just about anyone I’ve talked to has similar problems with CTS. Internet constantly cutting in and out and nobody wanting to do anything about it, they just want your money. Don’t go with them unless you want to have internet maybe half of the time
