Fish and chips meal was delicious! The fish was light and tender. The breading was flavorful and crisp but not too thick. The fries were well-seasoned and firm but not overcooked. The waiter was attentive and friendly. The cookie was warm and crisp and went well with the ice cream.

While we only had libations and apps, the drinks were spot on, the service was friendly and I definitely recommend the crispy Brussels sprouts! The Burrata dish was good, however the accompanied baguette slice was a bit hard to chew.

We ended up coming back the next day to try their desserts and I recommend the mini apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream or their Bread Pudding!

We stopped in by chance while walking around, and I’m glad we did! The food was delicious (and plentiful - I got a MOUNTAIN of chicken tenders) and the service was fantastic. They accommodated a larger group with ease and kept everyone happy. Kids meals include ice cream which my daughter loved. I would absolutely return. Prices were very fair also.

I had a great dinner experience at D4 Irish Pub & Cafe. We had a party of 3 (2 adults and one kid). Hostess seated us right away even though we were a bit early. They provided crayons and kids activity sheet right away as well. Our waiter, Ivan, was very polite and attentive to our requests. The food and drinks were 5/5, and we will be back.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of the Mag Mile. Everything about my visit was perfect from start to finish.

Service was incredible - thanks Juan!!
Drinks were cold and the food was excellent.

I had the Cobb salad - the chicken was super fresh and had a light breading on it. All of the produce was fresh and crisp. I opted for the house vinaigrette which was amazing!

My wife had the chicken pot pie and it was also excellent and clearly homemade.

We also had the French onion soup which was recommended and did not disappoint.

The kids food was also good and came with ice cream included.

Prices were very reasonable, I thought, for downtown Chicago. Totally worth a visit.

100% recommend.

My family stopped by for lunch after taking a Chicago River tour. My son and I shared the Wisconsin cheese curds and boy were they scrumptious. I had the Reuben sandwich, my son had the D4 burger, my wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and my daughter had the BLT. I sampled the pulled pork and it was very tender and juicy with an excellent BBQ sauce. My Reuben was moist and delicious with crispy bread. This was a very nice place to stop by for lunch since was on our way to the River Walk.

Everything we’ve tried has been great here. We always love our food and have great service. We’re local to this area and are so grateful that it’s so close to us. If you’re local to this area, if you work at northwestern, or even if you’re just passing by, this place is worth trying.

Here is the shepherds pie. Was absolutely insane. Cleaned the plate.
