Would be a nice library, but unfortunately it doubles as a day care, and is far too noisy to get work done. This is a big issue for most public libraries in Brooklyn.

Hi and Thanks for the library. One question, does the library have a space for small community events where we can speak softly and not disturb others. It would be for less than 5 people. Thanks, Ralph

The place is very neat and has many books and the stuff is very nice. However, if you are studying for an important exam, I would not recommend to come here unless you have very good noise cancelling headphones because the place looks like a daycare.

Grateful to have such a nearby branch of the BK Library. It really makes it easy to request materials.

I have never had a bad interaction with any staff members here. All around great community resource.

This has been my library since I was a child. What I love most about this library is its size and how clean and organized it is. The staff is helpful and at times go beyond to help visitors. At times the wee ones can be a lil loud but it doesn’t last long. They are usually gone before you notice.

50 minutes past 10 and the library is not open. A group of people is waiting outside and a rude employee answers the phone to say they’ll be open when they’re open.

I donate to the BPL because I want to see libraries in black neighborhoods but if this is the way staff engages with the community I can see why our libraries are closing down.
