Front desk was very helpful with getting me a library card. There is a big shelf of new releases and big desks to sit at.

Although it was not exactly the library’s fault, I took off a star for a creepy experience I had. The restroom is in the basement (it’s an empty area with no one there) and when I went, there was a man with a suitcase walking behind me as if he was going to the men’s room—but when I got out he was still outside the door and followed me to the bottom of the stairs and stared as I went up. No harm done but it certainly felt unsafe. I hope they make use of the space in the basement.

Librarians were so rude and did not want to help at all. It was my first time at the library and I was trying to print and asking questions and the women at the front desk were getting very annoyed and being rude. The only person who helped was the library officer who came over to show me how things worked and two library patrons. When I went to my computer I could see that the librarian was playing candy crush on her computer. Literally got annoyed at me for asking for help (which is her job...) because I was interrupting her candy crush.

Very peaceful library to stay and study. A lot of books to choose. There’s diferents areas to kids, adults and open area to use computers and print. The people working is so kind and friendly. I loved my time in this library. I want to comeback soon.

Nice library. Friendly staff. Could use some security. I work remotely and was doing a bit of work there just to get out of the house and a clearly mentally ill woman was muttering to herself for about 30 minutes and turned her attention to me threatening to kill me last week. They asked her to leave and she did after about three more minutes of threats at me. No one was hurt or anything but I know this kind of stuff happens at libraries in NYC all the time. Just disruptive behavior, harassment, lack of awareness of those around them, violence, and theft. Libraries are a net good but the mental illness and homelessness that runs rampant in NYC have turned most of them into homeless shelters during the day. No judgement obviously. I pray for these people but no one should feel unsafe at a public library. There needs to be more security. I don’t feel safe going there to work anymore since that incident.

The staff here are lovely and helpful. It’s a lovely atmosphere and there are lots of community events held here as well as tutoring and activities for kids/teens. The non-fiction range is a little small and there seems to be space for more books but it is a small branch and there are other branches nearby.

These type of locations are becoming more and more obsolete and fading away due to the changing of times. I'm just glad we can still enjoy them these days. Nowadays you can just turn on a computer and get all the information you need or just Google it on a smartphone as well.

I on the other can remember as a young boy/teenager coming to these places to do homework or get more or better information to complete my school work. It's amazing on how you can let your imagination run free and take you to a place you read about. Not like today's time's that Images/photos just show you on computers screen.

Not necessarily the best place to go if you have trouble focusing. It's not that quiet- and the library staff are the ones chatting loudly in the quiet study area. Once, I heard a man ask for more quiet so he could focus, and a librarian snapped at him. The librarians are nice if you ask for something other than quiet... in a library, lol.
