I ordered takeout & usually I don’t like to go to franchise places, but this Miller’s was better than any other I’ve been to! The food was fresh & hot when I came to get it; It was easy to pick up even though the place was packed. I tried the new Cajun shrimp & mahi pasta & surprisingly I didn’t have to add any seasoning, so that’s a plus! the Fiesta shrimp & chicken was so light & delicious as well.. I just might have to come back here. No notes. Food was delicious.

Miller’s Ale House on Colonial has been our go-to for about a year now, and I’m finally giving this location the credit it deserves. My boyfriend went for the ā€œhealthier-than-my-optionā€ route with a bun-less burger and broccoli, which I’m sure is his way of balancing out the French onion soup we both devoured. Meanwhile, I stuck to my favorite: chicken zingers with fries, because fried food is my love language.

Now, let’s talk about the chicken tenders. Don’t let their finger-like size fool you—they’re deceptively filling. The meat is juicy, but I’ve got to admit, there’s something about the batter that gives them this wrinkled texture. They look like they’ve been dipped in a time machine and come out looking like old men’s fingers. It always makes me think of Salad Fingers and his love of ā€œrusty spoons.ā€ Thankfully, the zingers are far more appetizing than that visual!

And then there’s the French onion soup. I’m VERY serious about extra cheese. When I ask for it, I expect bubbling, golden, slightly crispy perfection that could double as a blanket for the soup. Miller’s nailed it—no sad sprinklings or half-hearted attempts here. They understand the assignment, and I respect that.

The vibe here is always casual, the food hits just right, and the servers never bat an eye when I shamelessly drench my fries in ranch. Miller’s, keep the zingers wrinkly, the cheese extra, and we’ll keep coming back for more.

The new Paint & Sip classes at Ale House are such a fun and creative addition to the space! The private patio area gives the class a really cozy, relaxed vibe—perfect for unwinding and getting into the flow of painting. The class is taught by local artist, The Artistic Acorn, who brings such a unique energy to the experience.

Shoutout to Blue, our server, who did a fantastic job keeping everyone’s food and drink orders flowing without interrupting the creative process. Love seeing Ale House support local art and build community in such a cool way!

We stopped in for a quick bite. Immediate seating was available outside, but there was a 15-minute wait for inside. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our food was served promptly and was cooked to order. My 6-ounce sirloin was a perfect medium rare. We each enjoyed an old fashioned with our meal.

Brought my daughter and teacher wife to eat dinner and It was so delightful to be greeted with a smile and welcome into their restaurant by the host. He was extremely professional, upbeat and seated us with a positive attitude. Although it was after 8 p.m. we were seated immediately inside, waitress came to our table within minutes who was also very pleasant and answered all of our questions about their selections before we ordered. Once we ordered the food was brought out fairly quickly hot and extremely accurate, which can be a challenge when requesting substitutions and additional servings or sides. I definitely look forward to visiting this restaurant again. The management team must truly be exceptional because their workers are AMAZING!

The experience at Ale House was unacceptable. We waited 7 minutes to be seated after receiving a text that our table was ready. It took 10 minutes before a server even acknowledged us. The silverware was dirty, and when we asked for clean ones, the server rolled their eyes. My Prosecco was served in a dirty glass and wasn’t cold by the time the server finally returned. The food took 25 minutes to arrive, and my medium-well burger came out completely overcooked. On top of all that, the staff had nasty attitudes and acted as though we were inconveniencing them by being there (looking at you, Derrick & Olivia). Paid for my drink, sent the food back, and left. Miller’s is generally our go-to, but we definitely won’t be returning to this location.

We went for lunch and got in quickly! The food was out quick and it was delicious as expected! The service was great! We didn’t have to flag down our waiters for the check. She asked right away if we were together or separate checks which was appreciated. We were able to make it out on time for our appointment and never felt rushed!

I had the pleasure of visiting Miller's Ale House by Colonial Drive and Fashion Square Mall today (AUG 14) and I must commend Annie for her exceptional service, multitasking skills & energy. I was working remotely and had a moment to run inside to order my lunch. Annie did take my order with the most incredible customer service smile, and her glowing personality instantly brightened my day!

I absolutely loved her style and her eagerness to help me with my order. I ordered the Zinger Melt and a salad, and she made the entire experience very pleasant. She was quick and efficient, ensuring that my food was prepared just right. Her attention to detail and genuine care for my satisfaction stood out.

Annie went above and beyond by providing me with extra hot sauce for my wings after I mentioned I like my wings wet. It was such a pleasant surprise to find the extra pack in my bag. She also allowed me to work on my computer outside for a brief moment while waiting for my meal, making me comfortable during the interim of working remotely and picking up some grub.

I will definitely be back to this Ale House, and I hope that Annie is there to assist me on my next visit soon.

Side note, I'll definitely be back for that pint of Capt Jack's Treasure šŸ˜…
