Loved the feel of this place the moment I walked in. They pour a traditional Guinness, so be patient if there are a few ordered. Fish and chips had a great flavor, and the service was amazing. The bartender was very on top of things and she was aware of everything going on. Will be back

Pretty empty at 10pm on a Tuesday but more groups came later. Did didn't take a long time. Fried mushrooms were so juicy and delicious. The Mac and cheese is penne pasta and that tastes great too. The burgers and sandwiches are really big and well made, and come with a ton of fries. Overall great stuff. Definitely could come back to eat more food. Thanks!

Though 3 miles from my apartment, I consider Durty Nelly's to be my neighborhood bar. Irishman Odhran has owned and run the the pub for many years and has kept all the original charm of the place. It's a friendly hangout. Come on a Wednesday for Trivia Night. Come back on Thursday for Karaoke. You may hear Odhran himself sing - what a treat. The man can sing! BTW, there is plenty of parking out in the avenues.

I was there last night for the Pub Quiz. During the music round, the Pogues were played (naturally). People broke out in song and dance!

Durty Nelly's makes a solid burger, and it came with a ton of fries. All for $11 (The Classic). Next time I'm gonna get the fish and chips. If you try them out, be sure to leave a tip even for pick-up. They still have to pack up your order, and they give you a lot of napkins. Edit: Tried the chicken pot pie. Very savory. The crust was incredibly flaky and light. I don't think it's an everyday item though. Also, keep in mind that prices are always subject to change.
3/17/21 edit: Had the corned beef special and it was great!

Great neighborhood bar with friendly bartender/mixologist who made us a very nice Long Island Ice Tea on a hot Sunday afternoon. Definitely a great place to grab a pint of draft beer and some pub-grub !

I can’t even begin to tell you how fun this place is. If you wanna get out of the house or had a long day and want to have some drinks, laugh, decompress and have a great time, you have to come here. They even have trivia on Wednesdays, and they are not easy ( it gets pretty packed for trivia so go early). If you’re from out of town get their hoodie. I’ve to the plethora of Irish pubs in my life, and this one is my favorite. I just wish I lived in the neighborhood and visited long enough to try their food. Definitely coming back the next time my husband and I visit SF.
