I’ve been here a few times, both lunch and dinner, always a good experience. The servers are excited and cheerful, as well as helpful and professional. The food is delicious, the drinks are banging not watered down. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place!

Great pub with lots of space and food options! I've been here several times, and the food has consistently been good. They have a large menu and rotating draft list of beer. Today was their last day of the outdoor summer menu, but the year-round menu is equally as good. The atmosphere is specious and classic pub vibe.

I've been all over the place - from the neon-lit streets of Tokyo to the quiet corners of Maine's own backyards. But let me tell you, The Run of the Mill in Saco has carved out a special spot in my heart. Here's the deal:

The Grub: Every bite here feels like a little celebration. The food? It's not just good; it's got soul. Think haddock stuffed with crab that melts in your mouth or their daily specials that keep you coming back for more.
The Brews: Craft beer lovers, this place is your new church. They brew their own, and let me tell you, it's the real deal. From their Oktoberfest to the Tented Kilt, each beer has a story, and it's a story you want to taste.
The Crew: Andy, the man behind the scenes, runs this place with a passion that's infectious. And the wait staff? They're not just serving food; they're part of the experience. They remember your name, your favorite beer, and make you feel like you're at a friend's house.
The Vibe: Imagine dining in a place where history meets comfort. That's The Run of the Mill. The outdoor deck by the river? It's like having your own little slice of paradise. Perfect for chilling after a long walk or just soaking in the day.
The Heart: This isn't just a restaurant; it's where the community hangs out. It's where you meet your neighbors, share stories, and make memories. It's more than food; it's about feeling like you're part of something bigger.

If you're in Saco or even if you're just passing through, hit up The Run of the Mill. Trust me, it's not just a meal; it's an experience you'll want to have again and again.

On vacation we chose this venue for our special night out at the recommendation of another vacationer. We previewed the menu ahead of time as one of us is vegan. We decided to try it as they have a couple vegan options. Upon arrival we were offered inside or outside dining so we chose outside as the inside was very loud and noisy. We sat down and looked at the menu which didn't have garlic smashed potatoes, sweet potato fries or salads as sides. When we ordered and asked the waitress we were only then informed the outside menu was different than what was served inside and the above mentioned were on the inside menu. Very disappointing as had we been told when given the option of inside or outside that there are different menus we might have dined inside. I had the fried haddock full Monty which was excellent and it came with regular fries, so why couldn't sweet potato fries come with it or a salad instead? (Inside or outside) what's the difference. My fiance had the vegan burger which was great but may I suggest they use different lettuce as what was used had immediately wilted to what looked like a spoiled piece of lettuce. And finally, when eating fries, fried haddock or a burger a halfway decent absorbent napkin is required, not something thin and small and hardly any sign of your waitress to ask for more napkins as she was given a large party on the inside so we became low priority.

Food is GREAT service is incredible but the atmosphere can be challenging for a good conversation depending on the location of your seat. Will always be a loyal customer the mug is worth the adventure.

Took our 95-year-old mom to a late lunch here today, and the staff could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Mum likes the sun, so we sat on the enclosed patio—but it would have been too chilly had not Amanda turned on the overhead heater and made a fresh pot of hot coffee—all with a super friendly smile. The food was fabulous also but truly, the service was the best of all. Will definitely be back.

Some friends and I stopped in for dinner I had the crab rangoon dip and the bangers and mash. The food was solid, the atmosphere delightful and staff was fairly attentive.
