The dining room is on the first floor of this charming building, and doesn't have a lot of seating, but there was plenty of space when we went. While we were having dinner, we saw the train pass by about 3 times, but it wasn't loud at all. There is a full bar with bar seating, televisions behind it, and the main dining room has two active fireplaces that are lit during the colder seasons. The food was delicious, and the drinks were rather good, as well. We ordered the caramel espresso martini and the peach palmer drinks. We did have to ask for our waters to be refilled about 3 times, but other than that, the service was very good. We ended up being the last two people in the restaurant, so we were rushed a bit towards dessert, but that was understandable as they were closing, at 10pm.

There is plenty of parking for the restaurant in the back, and it is rather easy to find as well. I would certainly go back, when in the area, especially for the broccolini dish and the chowder.

My wife and I had the pleasure of living in Hopkinton for about 6 months and spent at least 1 night a week here. The food was amazing, the staff was always on top of their game and so polite, the atmosphere is exactly what you want, 10/10. We now compare every place we go to with this restaurant. If/when we are ever back in the Boston area...we will be here without a doubt! We even bought a jacket!!! Miss this place! (Even better if you can make it during the fall in the rain...you'd pass out at how stunning this place is).

This is a classic Irish pub with a few surprises. The beer menu is solid with about 20 beers on tap. I had the Chicken cedar and chutney. It was good. The mango flavor was just right ( a taste but not overwhelming). The burger was good. The fries were WAY overdone. They were hard and tasted like potato chips. The surprise was a “Irish pizza”. It had a potato dough, bacon and cheese and you got sour cream to put on it. Think … flat stuffed potato. Side salad was good

Wanted to try something new in the area, so I took my family (a party of 7) to visit this pub. We were all fine with standard pub food as long as we could grab some beers with it. We chose outdoor seating as it was a nice day outside.

We had a large party, so we reserved in advance. We were seated immediately, and the service was friendly and quick. We all had some beers that were refreshing.

As for food, we started with appetizers of Mac and Cheese, the Cheese Board, and Sausage Rolls. The Mac and Cheese was watery and overcooked, the cheese board was unique but overpriced, and the sausage roll was good. Not the best start, but not terrible either. For dinner, we ordered clam chowder, meatloaf, corned beef sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, and some other things. The sandwiches were fine, but the meatloaf was underseasoned. The clam chowder with smoked haddock, unfortunately, was inedible - both in terms of flavor and consistency.

The outside atmosphere was decent and relatively private. The only issue was that there were three or more trains that made it impossible to hear or speak (not their fault, but still a factor).

Overall, I'm sure this place would be fine for sandwiches and beers. I would not recommend bringing a larger party that wants to enjoy anything more than that.

The food is always great here. All the times I've been here there has never been any issue in the quality of the food. The atmosphere is second to none, it's a people place. TV's are all muted, the music is entirely background, you can actually hear yourself think in here and have normal conversations. The cozy atmosphere is second to none.

The staff was very efficient and friendly. The food was very good except my brownie was a little burnt. I'd recommend the short ribs, seafood stew, cheesecake and brownie sundae. I was hoping to see an apparition but not this time.

We ate at the Stone's house over a year ago and the food was great. Today's lunch unfortunately was really bad.
The scallops were overcooked, chewy and the glazed was burnt and had turned into something with the texture of plastic. The bed of grits had no flavor. Not worth $22 dollars.
The seafood stew was a can of tomatoes and overcooked stinky fish and mussels. The best thing in the stew was a few shrimp and scallops.
